About the code, you have to use enough so that your guide won't be a wall of text and no one will want to read it. Try to break down in small texts and try to use columns. When having walls of text, the best thing is to have links in the format:

On that note, other than the basic guide info, are there any additional tips when creating my guide? How much design should I use, such that the guide is appealing and yet isnt trying to smoke its content through like some guide I've seen on this site?
