Remix Rumble is back next week with a few adjustments! Read on to learn about all the changes coming to Remix Rumble before jumping into the action starting from the 14th of May!
It's time for a new Revival event, and this one's sure to be a crowd favourite! Remix Rumble will be back next week when Patch 14.4 debuts, and will be playable between May 14th all the way until the end of July.
This Revival event will bring back all of your favourite musical festival lineups—K/DA, True Damage, Pentakill, DJ Sona, and more! The Headliner mechanic will be back, with some improvements, and a couple of other changes to Augments and Opening Encounters. Let's dive in!
Headliner Set Mechanic
Remix Rumble's unique Set mechanic is called Headliner. Headliner allows 2-star copies of a unit to be purchased directly from the shop. This unit would also have a +1 value to one of their traits, as well as a unique Headliner bonus. A Headliner bonus could be a simple stat boost, or something more dramatic, like extra effects on their abilities.
Headliners appear in every single Shop reroll when you don't have one on your board. But even if you do already have one, a new Headliner will appear every four shops, just in case you find something better.
For 4 and 5-cost units, Headliners will not appear in the shop if a player already has four or more copies of that unit—just to prevent gaining easy access to high-cost three-star units.
Bag Size Adjustments
Riot has been exploring just how many copies of each unit are needed within the pool. The goal is to strike a balance between pursuing whatever team composition you have your heart set on regardless of being contested, and making sure that each lobby feels distinct—that not every player is running the same comp.
During the Festival of Beasts Revival, Riot felt it became too easy for players to force team comps, seeing as the bag size was personal and not shared. With this Revival set, Riot is returning to a shared pool with increased bag sizes for lower cost units.
1-costs: 50 copies
2-costs: 40 copies
3-costs: 30 copies
4-costs: 12 copies
5-costs: 10 copies
New Augments
A few new Augments have been added! These are reminiscent of the Into The Arcane Team-Up augments, becoming an option when you field two different Traits together. All of the below Augments are Gold tier.

Opening Encounters
Prismatic games will be brought to you by the Maestro, Jhin, while Bard will bring in the Trainer Sentinels and more. Three new Opening Encounters are being added, with the appropriate Remix Rumble vibes.
Event Pass
Finally, it wouldn’t be a Revival event without some goodies to obtain. For 975 RP, players can purchase a separate, smaller, Event Pass to earn rewards. Every player who participates in the Revival event can earn up to 75 Realm Crystals, while those players who obtain the Pass+ can gain 100 Star Shards, 225 Realm Crystals, and 500 Treasure Tokens.
Outside of currency, the Pass also includes a new tactician—Pentakill Siege Minion.
