How to do this
Alright, so basically everything sucks - including this - but this can actually keep you at least viable in the game and not feel like you're swinging a wet noodle around with no scaling.
It will take a few games to see the value in the build and how you can play it but the burst damage is actually pretty significant. Early game you can pretty consistently start fights and let allies clean up - or just clean up anyone with 50% hp of less.
Basically the early strategy is this:
1. Pressure hard early - invade or steal jungle.
2. Scare people with your burst damage. (even though you have no sustain)
3. Hide the fact that you have no sustain.
4. Prioritize ganks - your burst is significant early game.
5. First back you want to buy and if you can afford them. If you are behind, you can settle for the .
6. Do not buy Berseker's Greaves first. You *need* the damage to escape Wet Noodle Syndrome. Settle for regular boots and any extra damage until you buy
If early game goes well, you'll have 1 - 3 takedowns and buy Infinity Edge. The team will be starting some more fights, maybe roaming, and its going to be clear who you can target, at what health you can target them, and who you can't touch.
So run with that - do things that give you bags of money. If you know you can free dive enemy sup+bot with only one ally down there for you then do it. Blow up squishies because that's pretty much all you've got going for you.
The real reason this works is because of the extreme pressure you can apply to the enemy jungler with HOB. If you invade steal his red side successfully, ward to see where he goes, then you can basically track him for the next 10 minutes pretty easily. Reduce the enemy junglers options so that you know where he will be and start fights to your advantage.
Basically - you're Shaco now.
Late game is always different so you have to evaluate how to play. You have good split pushing at this point, you can destroy objectives, you can duel well, so you really just have to pick your fights correctly.
The way to lose is by not respecting that you are pathetically weak and playing on the razors edge of life now and are drastically less powerful if HoB is on CD. Once you hit full build then you have substantial damage, but you're only a threat to squishies.
is actually critical to make this build work because you get Q back super fast and it's essentially the only reason you'll live through basically any fight.
So yeah, all builds suck, but this one sucks the least for now. On-Hit is dead for this patch phase, just move on or run this.
