Hey everyone! Welcome to my Olaf build guide! In this guide, I'll explain my choice in runes, skill sequence, masteries, and items, but that all comes later. For now, please enjoy my second guide. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

I use these runes for Olaf. The armor penetration marks allow Olaf to get the most damage out of his Undertow and Tough It Out. The flat armor seals and magic resist per level glyphs give Olaf the defense he needs against any solo top laners like Darius, Shen, and even Jayce. The flat movement speed quints allow for easy chasing in the early game.

These items here....are just amazing on Olaf. Pretty self-explantory really. Lots of health, damage, and movement speed buffs. The Guardian Angel is there because most likely, you're going to outlast half your team. Once that fight turns around, you'll get focused, so having a Guardian Angel means if they focus you, you wreck them with your ultimate, Ragnarok, and your Reckless Swing.

The whole point of taking Reckless Swing first is to farm the early game. Maxing it first allows for moreTrue Damage and it's a great finisher. Max Undertow second to get good ranged damage and a slow proc for chasing down that pentakill. Maxing Tough It Out last because it's not as useful as Undertow and Reckless Swing. Put points in Ragnarok at levels 6, 11, and 16. Your standard ultimate sequence.

Ignite

• Nice early game finisher for when you can't dive
• Deals True Damage
• Makes diving on multiple people a lot easier

Ghost

• Makes Chasing easier
• Paired with Ragnarok and Shurelya's Battlesong, no one can escape you.
• A more viable escape method on Olaf as he has a slow and Flash only gets you so far.

When it comes to farming, you should always be in between your caster minions and melee minions, waiting to last hit with Reckless Swing. If you're getting zoned, use your Undertow to farm at a distance, but be wary of your mana. It'll deplete very quickly if you spam Undertow.

In short, Olaf is one of the best solo top champions out there. His chasing is great. He can dive turrets with Ragnarok and Reckless Swing. An overall fun champion to play. Really easy to pick up. If you don't already have him, buy him.
