I play scnice the seaon 2, im not very good, peak elo gold 4, the main reason is that I play not so much ranked, I prefer trying new things and there it is, a guide for which i sold my soul to udnerstand it Lillia top. ( im not saying that i deserve hicher elo, i just say that i tried and research a lot about the champs im training)
To make it short, i was searching for an ap pick top, but the lack of ap diversity there just got on my nerves and i tried all possible picks until i landed on a youtube video about lillia top, i spamed her on different account and had some good result with her ( all my accounts cumulatate, in a little bit more thant 140 games a 63%WR, in silver elo)

1. im not hig elo, i just like to learn new things and wanted to start making some guides, see it more as an introduction to the champ then a whole thing to know how to play her properly.

2. be prepared of the hate, lillia top is really cancer to play against so no one will like you, why i make this guide ? cause there is enough guide of her on the internet and i jsut wanted to start with her. Lillia otp is also niche, meaning not a lot of people will read this guide so as a first guide its a good start

Ok at first the diversity of ap champ in top lane is nuts, the only real ap picks that arent range scalign melee that survive top are morde and gwen, rumble makes a good job but it isnt that incredible

Second, she outrange and out ms all champs, which means there are jsut a few champs that are really threatening her. add to that the mental boom you can create, and the fact that the most will see lillia more in the jng, you can have a good blind pick.

she will be good against tanks, now that she is mellee conq works very well on her, add to that jak sho and you have a very versatil build, between assasin, offtank and tank.
Her Kits used properly wil make you a good lane bully, with your r you can engage pretty easeliy the whole team.

She evolve with 3 mains statistique, damage, regen and ms, add to that some armor and you have a good champ

At least, she works with micromanagment, its one of the hardest mecanics in lol, on her its easier to learn it, add to that that the low elo doesnt know how it work, and there you have a champ where you an learn that though the elos.

Pro:
+ blind pick
+ versatil build
+ can lane bully
+ a lot of people will focus her because they think you are squeeshy
+ your q stacks will allow you to out ms a jng if he tries to gank you.
+ a lot of people will disrespect you by not knowing your dmg or your range
+ you will make them go mental boom

Cons
- hard time vs gap closer
- squeeshy in earlie
- she can push waves but taking turret is not really that, which means no split push but a push and roam
- antiheal in earlie is your worst ennemie
- without flash you cant really have a good ult, without a big mistake of the ennemies.
- BIG mana issues in earlie
- no one will like you

So to make it quick, in earlie you want to have 2 things pretty quickly: mana and cdr.
You can take have other stats but those 2 stats are precious, which means ionian boots is the first rush, with some mana after that, tears if you plan to make seraphine or fimbelvetr, or glacial buckets to make an hearsteel.
Catalyst is an other option
If you want to do a tears item AND hearsteel, its possible, but i would give you the advice to buy big dmg items after, if u do that you will be very tanky but without a lot of dmg

In earlie:
-try use your Q to last hit and poke, it cost too much mana to just make one or the other
- against the mana issue, try to aa, like that u proc PoM and dorans ring
- you will get ganked and no one wil lrespect you properly, so when you train, just limit test a lot
- if u get ganked or get all in, stay calm, try to have some stacks and just run away, or at a good distance to Q them constently
- your W his your bread and butter, you need to hit the center to make some dmg, try to put it where they are running, or run into a bush, if they follow you can w them there

For the ult:
In 1vs1 there is 2 strats:
High risk high reward: put them low and then r them to w them after

low risk low reward: ult them directly to put them low life, maybe you wont kill them, but in earlie like that you can make them miss a lot of cs


if you have rylai you can peel pretty good, for example if there is on big fed guy in your team, stay around him and slow every people that wants to run away or run to this persone

So, lillia top is an interesting champ to play, based on an hard mechanic that is easier to understand when we play top. In the toplane she isnt that hard to pick up, just the tf will be a little bit complicated at the starts.
The builds are very versatils.
But the pick is hated on the top lane, I describe it myself as the most toxic playstyle, but play what you want isnt it ?
one last thing, if too many people start to play her, she will get nerf to the ground, I think riot let her be because not so many play her, but if it starts to get really meta and mroe plays here, they will see that its too toxic to be left like that
