Introduction

Quinn is an amazing fun champion which came out on the first of March, 2013. She is a great harasser, mid, and is usually late game oriented. This is my first guide, and I hope you enjoy it. See you on the Fields of Justice! Please leave feedback, and if you notice any errors, let me know!

Pros / Cons

PROS
+ Good adc
+ harasses very well with her Vault early level
+ She has 2 CCs, some sort of vision, and an escape
+ Basically one of the most fun champions to play
+ Her ultimate gives her major movement speed and attack speed

CONS
- Squishy throughout the entire game.
- If Quinns skills are on CD when you use your ulti, they will not refresh.
- Slow until you get boots
- Item, rune, and mastery dependent

Runes

Sigh. The most IP consuming part of this guide.
Marks Well, marks of attack damage. You can switch 4 out for attacks speed if you don't plan on getting your Zeal as your first item. Armor pen runes work okay as well, although it usually depends on who you plan on targeting and who you have on your team. You can go with a mixture of 6 AD and 3 Armor Pen, or vice versa.
Seals I find seals of scaling health help, giving her that little boost of health in the start. You can also have a few seals of armor if you know you're one of those people who like to rush in and poke, and get poked back harder. You can also have a combo of 6 Health and 3 Armor
GlyphsMagic resistance. Its only fair you grab these because of the masteries. You can also have 6 MR and 3 Armor if you grabbed scaling health.
QuintessencesGrab. Attack. Damage. If you don't, you will not be able to get that early harass in order to shave down their adc and support to kill them. If you cant entirely afford Quints of AD, buy some quints of gold. These will help you get a little more a little faster. You can also go with 2 AD and 1 Armor Pen if you feel necessary.

Spells

Flash is a must. Using a combonation of Vault then Flash on enemys chasing you, you gain major distance, and even if you dont have boots you will still escape.


Ignite is used commonly for bot lane aggression, mainly used to stop or halt a very fast health regenerating unit in team fights such as Dr. Mundo, Garen, Fiddlesticks, etc.


You can take this to help you early on with her low health, this way you dont have to burn potions or recall every time they hit you.


This will help you get back to lane faster, also anywhere on the map where there's a ward. This should help with getting behind the tanks to get their adc before they even notice.

Skill sequence

This is the sequence I use. I find it easy to shave them down, then you can go in for the kill.
By hitting them with your Q then your E, you can prevent their first initial abilities (example being Ezreal's Mystic Shot). The E then slows them, allowing you to catch them using your ultimate or with your long range auto attacks. This is a fun passive. Its kinda like Vaynes Silver Bolts, except you have to wait longer to get the extra damage. Note: Its best to attack champions when the have the target on them. If you are attacking a champion, Valor will automatically target that champion, no other. It also acts as a vision thingy. Champions with the target on them will stay visible until time is up (4.5 seconds). When near minions and enemy champions, Harrier will target the champions.

This is one of your best CCs. Its great for prefight damage, and also has the blind which lasts for 1.5 seconds. These 1.5 seconds can mean life or death when being targeted by the adc. I take this first, as it allows long range poke.

This is probably best when in ulti form, but the vision is great too if mid went Missing In Action(mia). When in ulti it gives you up to 80% more attack speed at level 16, and with a full build, you're unstoppable. The vision lasts for about two seconds. Note: It does reveal enemies in bushes, with or without being in that bush.

This is your major cc and harasser. Its great because you can poke at enemies, slow them down, then back out of their turret almost instantly. The benefit of it is it triggers Harrier. So then you can Vault then auto attack and repeat the process, throwing in your Q every once in a while. Overall, a great ability.

Tag team This is one of the best ulties in the game. It doesn't change her skills, it just makes them from a birds perspective. With Blinding Assault because an AOE around you, not where a skill shot hits. With Heightened Senses Valor can get up to 80% attack speed, and reveal the surrounding area for 2 seconds. With Vault Valor slows the enemy for 70% and does up to 20% more damage than Quinn does with this. On a second press, Quinn returns with a volley of arrows, dealing 200 to 400 damage. This can be used to kill runners with low hp.

Starting Items
These are your usual starting items. The Long Sword gives you some early attack damage, making it easier to shave down their carries health.
This is a great starting item if your support has Heal or and ability that heals you, because after buying it you will have no more money for health pots. The flat health also is a great helper, due to Quinns low health. The Doran's Blade also gives the same amount of AD as a Long Sword.
Boots of speed should be taken when laning against champions with bonus movement speed or slowing ablities, such as: Vayne, Volibear, Rammus, Blitzcrank, Janna, Nidalee, Teemo, or Zilean. Each of these champions has an ability to help them move faster to you. The boots will hopefully let you outrun them.Early Game
Awesome item, will help you farm and damage your enemy. Gives you early attack speed movement speed and damage.
CORE ITEM Get it after your Blade of the Ruined King. This item is the only item in game that gives you bonus critical strike damage. Due to your Bloodthirster giving you sustain, attack speed, and attack damage, it blows away Bloodthirster and Zeal as early game items.Mid Game
CORE ITEM ] This is definitely a major item for all adcs. Giving you 70 Attack Damage, 12 Life Steal, and a passive giving you more Life Steal depending on how many kills you have, Bloodthirster optimizes late game. If you have a Guardian Angel, when you respawn you will have about half health, depending on if you got out of their team. One trip to wraiths and wolves will fully gain your health back.
CORE ITEM This is a MAJOR CORE ITEM. I used to think building this last was the best option, but after playing a few games rushing it, I realized that it gives attack speed and sustain, replacing the Zeal and Bloodthirster. You should aim to have this item from 10-13 minutes.
CORE ITEM Having a Phantom Dancer mid game increases damage output and movement speed. With the increased attack speed and movement speed, you don't need to buy Berserker's Greaves until late mid game. Buy this after your Infinity Edge.Late Game
Only get this if you need Armor Pen. If you do need this, switch out your Phantom Dancer.
GA is a must for ad carrys, especially if you find yourself being targeted the most like you should be. This is even better if your team is winning team-fights because if they manage to kill off, or at least scare off, their team, you should be able to respawn and regenerate your health off of wraiths or wolves.Other/Situational Items
Some Quinns build this. If you find their team hard to catch, swap out your Phantom Dancer for this. This will slow them down, allowing you to take the kill. This item is even better when combined with tag team, because of Valors massive movement speed.
This is a great item. With movement speed, attack speed, armor penetration,critical strike chance, and attack damage, this is used for when the enemy team has a lot of armor. With the armor pen, this will help your critical strikes hit higher and faster.These items are typical for building Quinn as an ADC. If you see any Quinns building other items, let me know and I'll test them out. I'll then add them here and tell you why or why not to take them, and when to take them. Ill be adding Black Cleaver soon.
