Hello there! My name is SerenityTheFool. I suck at this game. Yeah, I do. But I understand what makes a good build and how to get things done.

So, this guide is a little tongue in cheek, as it's Taric top lane (but its viability is being researched). This guide gives is classified as humor, but you could try and do efficiently with him. The build does make the best out of Taric's abilities and allows him to get work done.

Taric's kit is pretty much designed for support, but he can be built as an AD off Tank for the top lane, as well as an AP Off Tank or even a hybrid of the two. This guide covers all three!

So you may have noticed at the top that I chose Teleport and Flash as the summoner spells. In the current meta, having the top laner take Teleport has become more and more common. It offers global lane and map presence and offers more mobility for different top laners. However, you may find that you don't need it. So some other options are Barrier, Exhaust and Ignite.

For the runes, you have a few choices. You're going to want to have flat armor yellows, and flat MR/scaling MR blues depending on who you are facing. You will want AD reds if you're running the AD Build, and Magic Pen for the AP Build. And Armor Quints
