Introduction

My game name's Bunni Anzu, and I'm sure we're all here to learn together and have fun with this new champion. This guide will serve as a place where we can all learn and give suggestions. I believe practical work is better then reading, so I aim to keep information concise. I'm going to assume you know what she does based on the champion spotlight, so lets move on.

[UPDATE] October 16th, 2015: Updated masteries and more detail into masteries/runes.

Why play Kindred

To learn more about this new champion and possibly change the meta. She is a marksman jungler, that is actually built for jungling. She has a lot of carry potential and can dish out a lot of damage through DPS like a standard marksman.

If you play Vayne or similar champions, Kindred is really easy to pick up, the kiting with Q inside your W is essentially like Tumble.

Pre-Game Set up

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush

These runes are essentially standard ADC runes. You can replace 1 or 2 AS Quints for life steal quints if your really not good at kiting jungle creeps. I choose not to run life steal quints as your W gives you free sustain. As said in the Champion spotlight, Kindred is a Ranged Marksman Jungler, therefore I feel that it is proper to treat her like a ADC rather then a special jungler. She is also played very much like Vayne, and I've had success with the exact same runes for both these champions.

Kindred's Build path

Item Sequence

Stalker's Blade - Devourer 2450
Berserker's Greaves 1100
Wit's End 2800
Randuin's Omen 2700
Guardian Angel 3200

This build can be changed according to your situation, but I personally believe, let me reiterate, PERSONALLY, think that this is the optimal build for Kindred. Kindred's damage is based off of %HP through auto attacks, not raw AD. So essentially she's a tank destroyer, so AD is kind of, not really, useless. Like most DPS champions, she needs to stay alive to deal her damage, so if she's dead, she does nothing. You have enough damage and burst with Mounting Dread and Mark of the Kindred to the point where raw AD is unnecessary. If your playing against people like Talon or LeBlanc then survivability is a must.

Remember, this build is not set in stone and is subject to change.

Gameplay (Basic jungling and mid-late game synopsis)

Once you start the game, start the camp closest to bottom side, as the leashe that is given is 100% better then the one that the top laner can give you. If your support is nice, ask him/her to tank the gromp/kruggs for a bit to minimise the damage you take. Once your done that, proceed Red/Blue depending on what side you started on. Not for certain, but from the games I've played, wolf will mark the scuttle closest to you after the first buff clear. So take the scuttle and move to other buff.

You should have hit level 3 at this point, if not, then don't consider ganking unless your friends have CC to make the gank successful. But if you did hit 3, the standard ganking pattern is like this. Click on the champion picture for your passive above your inventory to mark the enemy you want to kill. You walk into the lane and hit Dance of Arrows to close the gap. Immediately cast Wolf's Frenzy and Mounting Dread. This will reset Dance of Arrows to 2 seconds (watch the champion spotlight if you don't think so), and slow the enemy. Attack move towards the enemy in the direction they are running in and spam Q whenever possible, dodging possible skill shots, closing the gap and dealing more damage. This standard gank pattern works in pretty much every situation and can either net some kills or blow some spells.

Kindred's unique gameplay which involves invading the enemy jungler a lot can be really difficult, especially against teams that ward and the enemy has good dueling potential. So advice for this would be, grab scanner trinket, look at the minimap for the enemy jungler. Once you have these two things at your disposal, clearing camps is a breeze. Kindred's damage is really good and can clear camps fast.

Kindred can solo dragon at level 6 or when she has gotten Blade of the Ruined King and Enchantment: Devourer. Unless the enemy has someone like Warwick or Fiddlesticks Dragon will be an easy capture. Be sure to watch the minimap just in case you will be contesting for dragon when your soloing it.

Assuming you have been stacking your passive nicely, you should have 6-8 stacks by 25-30 minutes, perhaps more. Because Kindred is a DPS jungler that does %HP damage, barons and dragons are easy to take. So if you kill 2 or 3 enemies and your ADC and tank are still alive, go take baron, you do a lot of damage to baron.

When late game rolls around always stay grouped. If your team gets initiated on, place down your ult and begin fighting. Kindred's ult is pretty much a Anti-engage tool, where people like Malphite can have their engage ruined because no one died from it.

Remember to always take objectives. Towers and inhibitors over kills. Don't forget to push, kills won't win you the game. Also, don't be foolish and take baron after an ace if you can end the game on the spot.

Conclusion

So heres the basic rundown of the champion and my way of playing her. Like I have said, this guide is a place to share suggestions and ideas for this new champion. Good luck hunters!
