The biggest difference in any udyr build is in your runes,in my case the rune page in this build is a most offensive Udyr,with the focus in destroy your enemy backline,win every single 1v1,and kill barons and dragons faster.

The second Rune page turns Udyr more defensive,grants hp,tenacity,between others defensive attributes.

See if your comp has a good early or late game to choose your runes,you will be constant in each game phase,what you need to think is: "how i can be better to my composition?"

its necessary to analyse the both comps and decide what you will do in the game,for example,your midlaner and adcarry has high potential to carry the game according to the enemy champions,in this case its better to focus on the defensive path. I could write here thousands examples about how Udyr can be used as an assassin or protect,but with the time you will recognize your potential playing with the champion,ANYBODY can and will dominate this knowledge!
