Runes

Always take flat AD marks. The reason for this is that Lee Sin scales very well with AD. You can take Armor Pen but I dont recommend it. Attack Speed is not necessary because of his passive Flurry.

For Seals I always take flat Armor. The reason for this is that is gives you sustain and a safer jungle in the early game, and over all tankyness. I cant say that there are any other alternatives.

For Glyphs there are a few alternatives. What I recommend is in this guide but im going to tell you the others now. x9 Greater Glyph of Magic Resist against a heavy AP team.
x9 Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist for the over all tank stats. But what I recommend is once again in this build.

I recommend you to take x6 Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction. This is necessary to be able to spam your abilities more frequently. Just keep in mind that you have to use 2 basics in between every ability to utilize your passive to the maximum.

Flat AD Quintessances for the damage. Lee Sin scales once again very well with AD and I see no reason to take that away. More damage=More kills and faster clears.

Keep in mind that this is only what I recommend! Feel free to experiment a own runeset that works for you.

Always max Q first, the reason for this is that you're gonna miss out on a lot of damage in the early game. Second I max E but you can max W second to, the reason for me maxing E before W is that is gives you stronger damage and some AOE. If you max W you will get a stronger shield, spell vamp and lifesteal. I only do that if i've gotten very behind early game. Take a poing on R when its possible.

Combos

Now we're gonna look into some combos for Lee Sin.

Burst Combo

Q E R Q

This is the combo you wanna use when you're fighting someone 1 v 1.
It makes your Q Sonic Wave deal max damage.
The concept is: Use your Q to make sure you can follow them. Deal as much damage as possible and use your Q again to finish off.

Insec combo #1

Q Q W R

This is the famous "Insec", the concept is to ult an opponent into your team and pretty much give them a free kill.
What you wanna do is to Q to one of the opponents, ward behind them, W to that ward or to a allied minion if you dont have a ward, and ult the opponent into your team.
This combo recuiers alot of practice because it has to be done very fast so your opponents dont have time to react. (If you dont have any teammates behind you you can try to ult them into the range of a tower).

Insec combo #2

4 W R F Q Q E

This is another version of the Classic Insec combo. The concept here is the same accept that you will deal more damage. What you do is that you put a ward down close in front of your opponent, W to that ward, use your ult and at the same time flash over your enemy. If you do this correctly you will ult the opponent to where you came from, while the opponent is mid-air he wont be able to move so landing your Q should be quite easy. After landing your Q, jump to the opponent and use E if necessary. (If you dont have any teammates behind you you can try to ult them into the range of a tower).

Of course you can take a small part of any of thease combos to make it very hard for the opponent to react before they get kicked in to your team.

Teamfighting

Now we're gonna learn how to teamfight with Lee Sin.

There are two roles that you can have:

#1 - Figter/Tank/Playmaker:

This is want you're usually gonna do as Lee Sin, basically you're gonna do your best to get that legendary 5-man ult. Late game Lee Sin can be a bit akward, what you gonna wanna do is to try to do a Insec combo or just a "flash-ult" or simply kick one of their carries in to your team by running behind them or flanking. Jump around, do as mush damage as possible, focus the squishy targets.

#2 - Peeler/Protecter:

This is what you'll do when you already have alot if fighters on your team. You're gonna wanna stay close to your carry and protect them from assassins or general divers. When the threats are dead you can change your role to be a fighter unless the fight is already won.

Conclusion

Thank you for reading my guide on Lee Sin!
I hope you learned something new. Lee Sin is one of the hardest junglers to master so dont expect to be able to pull of the coolest combos and win every game. Practice alot and have fun doing it!
