Welcome to my guide! I'm Nightingale, former Season 8 Rank 1 Azir on EUW. After taking a break and moving more to strategy games for a while I really changed my perspective on how to play Azir and how to play League of Legends in general. My goal with this guide is to teach you everything I know. I strongly feel that if you follow what I will teach you you will climb regardless of what elo you are.

This guide will teach you everything you need to know about the mid lane and how to play Azir, the many styles of Azir and hopefully will help you understand the identity of this amazing champion.

This guide is going to get very in depth and as you can see I tried to keep all the important stuff at the top but if you're reading this far then let's keep going. Well now that you know everything about me, let's begin.

Who is Azir? Azir is the Ascended Shuriman God Emperor of League, by far one of the coolest champions in the game with my favourite kit shining way above the rest. Everything about azir is very unique and fun to play with. If you love a challenge then Azir may be for you. This champion will take a lot of games to get good at but he is pretty rewarding for the most part. Azir is a very consistent pick that can be one tricked pretty well. He has no real bad matchups as they're basically all a skill matchup and you can climb to any elo with this champion however he does suffer a bit in the lower elos.

Playing Azir is not for the weak mental players though. Azir is weaker than most champions early and you will have to use your mechanics and especially your brain to outplay your opponents. This can be frustrating at times but it's something you learn to deal with. Get good at Azir however and you can basically dominate any game. He is by far one of the most consistent champions in League, with a decent early, strong mid game and a really solid late game Azir is an okay champion to climb with. His main hinderance though is just his high skill floor and almost infinite skill cap.
