Hello guys, and welcome to my guide!

FYI this guide is under construction and more content will be added soon as I am currently working on a video describing the strategy as a whole - but if you really want to you can try out the strategy of running rengar mid anyways!

First things first; Who am I?

I am simly your casual platinum yasuo onetrick, that has played a lot of games rengar in the past seasons, but I climbed from P4 to D2 by just spamming rengar mid. I have played Rengar mid on The Korean Server, The NA server and The EUW server. The ranks I started out on these servers are P3 - D2 and currently all 3 accounts sits at D2 or D3.

The main reason I haven't climbed any further is just because I haven't had the time to play as much as before, but having a winrate of 79% over 200 games with rengar mid, can tell you guys a lot. IT. SIMPLY. WORKS.

Okay, so now you're thinking, Rengar mid? really?
And the answer to that is yes.

You have heard of Sejuani mid and other strange picks, but rengar? I simply did the math and rengar is a pretty good midlaner!

Rengar has almost everything a midlaner need;

A leap (R and his passive if you can use it properly in the mid bushes by baiting a roam after shoving), he has insane damage, insane sustain with his W and he also has a form of slow and CC with his E. It all just makes sense!

Rengar mid works, and the main reason it works well is because you need to play around your jungler, contesting scuttle with him early and farming safe until you reset and get your first items. What you want to do during lane is just to farm as safe as you can and heal yourself back up with W if you take any damage when you are going for a cs. Rengar can CS under turret quite well in my opinion, so that is not gonna be a problem!

During the mid-game you want to roam as much as possible with your R and use the bushes to your advantage. You are basically gonna play ur lane as if you are a jungler, taking the wave and shoving. If you are vs a mana champ, ur just gonna make them waste all their mana on the waves and so they need to recall - you are rengar, you can just roam instead.

Drakes are really important and VISION IS KEY!

You can't play rengar if you don't have vision. I always end my game with almost 2x that of a challenger midlaner, why? Because it's so profitable for you to stay hidden and spot out isolated enemies.

Here you can either Split-push (ur QQ deals a **** ton of dmg on turrets) or you can relax in the enemy jungle, waiting for people to walk up to you and kill them so you can get a free baron or a free drake. Always invade the enemy jungle right before an objective, but keep in mind that you are vulnerable if you dont know where the entire enemy team is. That's why vision is key. Remember that!
