Thats exactly what i said when i started to play vlad until i saw futures market and then i thought, when i take magical footwear then after i get it , its pretty much done , you cant do anything else with it however with futures market you can use it pretty much always and whenever you want, you can rush your items very quickly. In early game you can have an item advantage because of futures market . Lets say you need 250 gold to buy rabadon and you dont have anything to sell, you buy with futures and you can go and help your team, with magical footwear you need to farm and then go back and buy it which takes alot more time.
