Azir is a hard champ to get use to. He is a champ that takes a lot of skill and time to play. His early game is a little rough but if you play passive for it you will do fine. his late game he can be a monster. If you are going to want to know how to play him, you got to learn how to do his w,e,q combo first. I would try this on the practice mode first.

Early ap on azir is good for farming. Also your mana bar will get quite low at some times that is why you need to get mana regen.

Thunder lords is good for early poke you need it for the extra pop damage. It can force your foes to back then you push right on in.

Items you can build a lot of stuff for azir but this build will do the best in team fights. You have to get that early nashor's tooth for the extra damage and aa speed for you w. Yes the extra damage does work with it. Rod of ages s good for the health, mana and Ap it will make you survive in team fight , also it will let you stay in fight for longer in mana base wise. Torment can replace that if you have to get a big kiting in against tanks. Void staff makes it were you do a lot more damage to tanks, and it couters the item abyssal scepter.

At all times you want to put your w between there minons font and back line. It gives you the dominance over lane and lets you safe cs because of range.
