When I lane I usually try to poke the champion multiple times so that I get as many klepto procs as I can before they get lvl 6.This usually helps with champions like teemo and heimer since they don't get their power spike till a little later and by the time you're done getting that extra gold rushing a tiamat and snowballing is easier.Its also good to note that if you're not able to farm since he is stoping you by autoattacking or engaging a lot,I would probably ask for a gank because fixing on you're own isn't easy with champions like renekton and tryndamere.
