Champion Build Guide
My name is Robyn and I made this entire guide with one goal in mind, to annoy a friend of mine with my outlandish and downright stupid build ideas, if he sees this - Hey Niverio <3.
Anyway, this guide is centred around Ashe's rediculously low cooldowns, specifically her W - Volley, which can get to Cooldown times as low as ~1.86 seconds. In addition to this, we are adding in the ability to burn your opponents, so not only are we annoying with our arrows numerous enough to block out the sun, we are also just gonna sit back and watch them burn to death, slowly. Still interested? Then lets continue.
This build pits Ashe in the midlane, you are not wanting to be an ADC this time around, so sorry to you if you were wanting to try that out in the bot lane. You might be able to get away with this build in the support role though!!
When the game loads in, buy your items(s) and level your W - If you want to avoid using mana you can level your E or Q as they aren't as mana heavy, especially if used in quick succession - Depending on how you want to approach things, will heavily sway which item you buy first.
- If you're looking to spam your W and start the onslaught right of the bat; buy the Tear of the Goddess and a health potion, buy two health potions if you want to have a bit more sustain and survivability in your lane.
-If you're looking to slow the pace down and bide your time while farming, waiting for the perfect time to strike, buy yourself the "Cull" item and get to it, it gives you extra gold upon killing minions and once you've killed 100 of them, it gives you 350 extra gold! That's the equivalent of 1 kill, and 50 extra gold. WHAT A STEAL!!
- If, however, you're looking to take a few extra risky trades, buy yourself a Doran's Shield and head out, you lack the mana from Tear and that extra bit of damage from Cull, but you have more health and a passive health regen.
Depending on if you chose to back your or you got pushed out of lane can heavily affect the items you're able to buy. But lets assume for a moment that you didn't get pushed out of lane and you chose to back with around 1300 gold give or take, I dunno it's an estimate and I like throwing numbers around so bleh!
Lets assume you played perfectly to 1300 gold and you've returned to base. What do you buy? Well I can give you a few option that could help. If you choose to rush straight to your mythic so that you can start burning your opponents as soon as possible, I'd suggest you pick yourself up the "Lost Chapter" item from the shop, it costs 1300 gold and is a huge leap toward getting that sweet sweet Liandry's Anguish. However, if you would rather approach this differentlt, maybe build some extra AD. Hide your true colours for the time being. Buy the "Caulfield's Warhammer" and a refillable potion, or if you did really well, some boots! For that much needed movement speed and a small headstart to getting your "Ionian Boots of Lucidity"
(I know my numbers are probably unrealistic, but these are best case scenario stuff. Please be nice and go with it for now)
If however. you were unable to get to around 1300 gold, or you died midway to getting, have no fear or worries my sadist in the making, as you can instead buy what you can! For Lost Chapter, buy both Amplifying Tomes (930 gold) or an Amp Tome and the Sapphire Crystal (815 gold) - For some extra mana. And for your Caulfield's Warhammer, buy both the long swords (350 gold each) instead! Then head back to the fight, and cause some mayhem!
(Thinking back on it, 1300 is a lot for your first back. So I do apologise, and I will update it soon with some more realistic goals)
The moment you are able to buy Liandry's the better, but if you built it as your second item then have no fear, as remember, Ashe doesn't have much in the way of AP scaling. So maybe building Liandry's second was the right thing to do? We'll see won't we.
You'll definitely have the element of surprise with this build. Because who on earth is going to expect an Ashe to run Liandry's Anguish. Probably someone who makes Build Guides exactly like this one, those losers. But nonetheless, you're a monster in team fights so if you can just hold your own till laning phase ends. Then your enemies are about to be in a world of hurt.
That aside, in teamfights you have enough range to stay away from all the front liners, but still be able to pepper them with Ws. Add the extra damage from Dark Harvest and that's the recipe to the powerpuff girls if I've ever seen. Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice: Burn, Cooldown Reduction and Range. Now lets add that Chemical X. Collector.
Also yes, I know I started off sounding professional and slowly derived into insanity, memes, and references to the PowerPuff Girls of all things. But I am typing this up at 1:41 in the morning so uh yeah. Sorry.
Anyway, that's Liandry Ashe, go out there and have fun
- Robyn
