Very easy lane, poke a lot lvl 1 and you got the upper hand in lane, after lvl 2 just be out of range of his engage and poke with max range Q, dont try to match his Roams unless you win 2vs2 with your jungler or 3vs3 with your top or mid. you want exp while he doesnt care much, you outscale him so just punish his adc if he roams and kill it on repeat. at teamfights be out of range of his combos and hit him with empowerd q in teamfights to burst him down. Dont waste R on him on teamfights cause he can cleanse it with his R
Ahri
If you dont get hit by her charm then the lane is pretty easy, you can outpoke her if you are not that bad at dodging her spells, she usually go electrocute and ignite so if you get hit by charm you die most of the times. she will roam a lot especially after 6 so dont try to match her just take plates and punish her adc.
Annie
easy lane, you outrade her and you outscale her to, in teamfights be carefull for her flash W or R combo, and you will be fine
Bard
Depending on how good bard is then the threat lvl increases not for you since he cant do nothing in lane against you unless you play poorly and he play very well. you outrade him since you outrange him with Q, he has almost none kil pressure in lane unless he gets good Q and you are half hp. you cant match his roams so dont try, punish his adc and if possible let your team know when he misses.
Azir
easy lane just dont play at his soldiers and you can outrange him, after 6 you cant really dive him so do it only if his R is down or he is really low, you outscale him so just win the lane and snowball
Braum
Braum is very good against meelee support and champions overall but very mediocre against ranged ones, poke him down he cant do much unless you play close to his minion then he can jump on them and land very easy q on you and punish you, so as long as you not going in meelee range he cant do much. you outscale him at teamfights unless your whole team is meelee range xd.
Dr. Mundo
poke him down with every chance you get, easy lane
Camille
poke her down, just becarefull for her E engage, try dodge it with your E speed. after 6 if she finds you alone she can punish you with her team so dont go for vision when you dont know where her and her team is.
Cho'Gath
easy lane poke him down you can easily dodge his q with your E so just scale and win the game.
Fiddlesticks
you outscale and outrange him, just poke him down and becarefull of his scare he can setup good ganks if you overextend
Gragas
you outpoke in lane and outscale, he cant use his E on you if you position well at the lane on wave so no big threat, dont match his roams just kill the adc on repeat.
Heimerdinger
you outrade and outscale, you can sustain his dmg with your W so no big deal, he will have early prio but other than that he cant do much
Janna
you outrade and outscale her, althrough she is better in a 2vs2 or 3vs3 senario he cant match your peeling in teamfights, so just scale up she has no kill pressure at lane even with ignite unless you get hit by tornado in a very akward spot which you shouldnt anyways, you can dodge her tornado if you position well and predict were will go, E movement speed will help you to.
Karthus
you outscale and outrade him in lane so no big deal, just kill him and his adc on repeat he is very squishy, you can sustain his dmg with your W he cant.
Ivern
you outrade him and outscale him,
Lulu
you trade fairly with her, but you outscale her, althrough you rarely going to have kill pressure at her or her adc he can only peel succesfully one person while you can do all your team, even when she runs ignite she has no kill pressure to you if you play correct
Morgana
position well and you wont have any problems in lane no matter how good the morgana is, dont be greedy for your support item and he cant punish you if you position well, you can outrade her with your Q and you can sustain her W dmg with your W and get extra stacks after first reset.
Kog'Maw
you outrade him lvl 1 after that you trade fairly, you can sustain his poke with your W you outscale so you wont have much of a problem
LeBlanc
you outrade and outscal, dont match her roams and dont force many trades on laning phase so she wont have kill pressure at you with ignite and electrocute
Malphite
poke him down, he haves no kill pressure at you at all, you can flash his R at lvl 6 and r him and his adc. other than that he matches your teamfight ability with his amazing R but overall you should win the lane very easy and snowball that hard that even if he gets 5 man R wont do much
Maokai
easy lane he doesnt have much kill pressure to you unless you dissrespect him, you can sustain his plant dmg after first reset and win the lane very easy.
Miss Fortune
very easy lane, dont force trades but overall you trade fairly, use your W every time she use her E and she wont have any pressure. you cancel her R with your R so keep it for that moment in lane, win the lane snowball and you outscale her at teamfights
Nidalee
if she doesnt find early kills she falls behind, so as long as you dont die in lane you wont have problem, you outsustain, outscale and if played correctly outrade her to.
Ornn
you outscale and outrade him at lane, pretty easy lane, he dont have much kill pressure if you position well. becarefull when you dive him, cause he can E at turret and knock up your jungler, if he times his W he can cancel the stun of your R so have that in mind to.
Poppy
easy lane she cant match your poke, she doesnt have almost any kill pressure to you or your adc, dont match her roams punish her adc instead.
Renata Glasc
easy lane you trade fairly and as long as you position well she has no kil pressure at all.
Sett
easy lane just becarefull of his flash E and he has no kill pressure to you as long as you position well.
Shaco
easy lane you can sustain his poke with W, you outscale him. he is just annoying. he falls behind if he doesnt snowball so as long as you dont die early game then you will be fine.
Shen
you outpoke him, his E cd early on is high so if he misses it just slow him with your empowered E and kill him or force his flash, if he R someone and you are close you can R him to cancel his R, other than that you outscale and outrade as long as you postion well and keep good spacing
Soraka
you outrade her and outscale her, use your E to dodge her Q and poke HER DOWN not the adc if possible, you should poke her down very easy with good roation and auto resets, after 6 if you find good opportunity you have kill pressure at her,
Twitch
he has no kill pressure to you if you play correctly, position yourself well and dont overextend when low, expect him to miss a lot, if he doesnt find early kills he falls behind so dont die and you will be fine. you outscale him
Karma
she outrade you so dont force many trades, just react to hers, she wil have early lane prio and roam, just scale up and after 6 you got kill pressure if she missposition, you outscale her if she doesnt snowball so dont give her kills and you will be fine, you sustain her poke dmg with your W
Lux
she is not that scary as she might seem altrhough that fully depend how good the enemy lux is, you can sustain her E dmg with your W so she has minimal pressure, as long as you position well at lane and you dong get hit by Q you can trade fairly with her. you outscale her if she doesnt find early kills.
Nami
you trade kinda fairly with her, as long as you dont get hit by bubbles you wont have problem pre 6, after 6 you need to be extremely carefull with yout possition so you wont get hit by her R and then bubble, yu can dodge her R fairly easily with your E at medium-long range.
Use your empowered W at the adc she E when you fight so you minimize the dmg you or your carry will get from electrocute proc . you outscale her overall if she doesnt snowball
Pantheon
you outrade him, just poke him down and position well on wave so even if he jumps on you or your adc will get burst down and die, you cant match his roams but ping when he gets R at your team, if he doesnt snowball he is just usuless
Rakan
you can dodge his W with your E and he will have 0 kill pressure to you pre 6, you outrade him if you position well and not get caught, you outscale him at teamfights overall unless he gets 5 man R+W or something. dont let him snowball cause he can trasnfer his lead very good with his utility kit in other lanes.
Rell
this depends on how good is the rell player, if he is bad he will be on mounted form, if he is good he will be on foot. keep good spacing and poke with max range Q, if you play well he wont have kill pressure to you as long as you keep good position when her lflash is up, after 6 she become very good teamfight tool so in teamfights keep good position and you will be fine. if she doesnt snowball she is very squishy so when he jumps in he dies easy
Seraphine
you trade even with her, you scale equally well, your kits are very similar to. just scale up its even lane afterall, and in teamfights dodge her E.
Tahm Kench
carefull of his W engage, keep bushes warded and poke him down. you outscale overall if he doesnt snowball
Taliyah
this depend on how good the taliyah player is, try to not get hit by her E by using your E speed, you can trade fairly if you play correct, but try to not overforce trades, you can outsustain her poke later in lane and you outscale her if she doesnt snowball
Trundle
you outpoke him, and outscale him dont match his roams just punish his adc.
Vel'Koz
he outrades you and early in lane his pressure is very high especially if he is good with the champion. later on lane you sustain his poke with your W so just scale up and dont die in lane, if he doesnt snowball he is not that big of a thrreat
Zac
you outrade him lvl 1, so you need to play aggresive, carefull of his engage he can chain cc you for over 4 seconds if he do his combo well after 6. you outscale him overall so as long as he doesnt snowball you wont have any problems
Yuumi
you trade fairly with her, use your W when she lands her q at you or your adc to deny poke and get stacks, after 6 punish her if she jumps out at your adc range. she can become a real threat if an enemy player snowballs even if she lost the lane, so antiheal is mandatory. if she is paired with assasing you need to keep your R to him and use it at good timing so you can burst him down before the cc ends.
Zilean
she outrades you and he had very OP R, you cant win lane against him if he is good. so just dont die and go even at lane. you can sustain his Q dmg later in lane with W and get free stacks.
Jarvan IV
hard lane, if he plays poorly you can even kill him, but if he lands his combo on you and he is paired with aggro adc you are dead. keep good spacing and scale up. you outscale him if he doesnt snowball. dont match his roams kill his adc.
Amumu
impossible lane to win if amumu is good, so just dont die and scale up. you can dodge his q with your E. in teamfights unless he gets a crazy play you outscale him.
Brand
you can sustain his poke with your W but if brand is good he will be very annoying and have constant kil pressure to you and adc. if he doesnt snowball he will get him time to do good dmg in teamfights which at that point you will either have end the game or you going to have item advantage so it wont matter much. just sustain his dmg scale up and DONT DIE.
Galio
he has constatly kill pressure and a good follow up R. you got no kill pressure to him unless he plays extremely poorly. keep good space and dont missposition so he cant punish you. poke with max range q whenevhjer possible. as long as he doesnt snowball you outscale him
Senna
she outrade you hard, so dont force trades, you scale equally well but you are more usefull at teamfights, sustain her poke with W and dodnt let her snowball, just go even with her at lane.
Swain
depending on how good swain is, you dont win the lane easy, position well and dont get caught by his E, you can use your E to dodge his, if he doesnt find kills he scales very slow since his build is expensive, you scale equally well so just go even with him at lane.
Taric
you both scale equally well and he had very good R. you can poke him on lane but becarefull of his flash E cause you die insta, position well and dodge his E with yours.
Veigar
you trade fairly but care for his cage, if he doesnt snowball then he is not big threat.
Anivia
one of the hardest for sona, her Q range is very big actually and he can combo it with W so you cant even dodge it if you are not fast enough with your E, you outscale her and at lvl 1 you outrade her to, if she doesnt snowball she falls behind so just survive and respect her a lot in lane.
Ashe
you can sustain her W poke with your W, after 6 she will perma R you in lane if you missposition, but overall you can win the lane, just outpoke her and dont get misssposition cause he can just perma slow you down and killyou with her adc.
Blitzcrank
depending on how good the blitz is this lane can be close to unlplayable. you can try dodge his Q with your E speed, position yourself at wave and when he runs at you slow him down and poke him, dont just run but kite. always flash his hoook cause if he gets a hook you die. if he doesnt snowball he falls behind and if he doesnt find good piccks you outscale him at teamfights hard.
Leona
you can dodge her E with your E, poke her down lvl 1 and whenever you have the change after until lvl 6, when you have to respect her and not get caught by her R and chain cc. you outscale in teamfights unless he do crazy R or something
Nautilus
as long as you dont get hit by his Q lane is fairly easy, poke him down and position well, after 6 respect his engage and dont feel to comfortable, at teamfights keep good position and peel your teamates you outscale him.
Neeko
he outrade you, he runs electrocute and ignite so if he lands E at you you die. keep good position and dont give her kills, she can snowball very easy but she falls behind kinda if she doesnt snowball. just scale up and poke with max range Q
Pyke
the hardest lane for sona. PERMA BAN THIS IF YOU GOING TO PLAY SONA. you legit can walk in lane if he is good with so much pressure he has. even by clicking his W scares the hell out of you. he can snowball out of control and he can do that very easy with how squishy you are. if he is not that good then the lane is viable but i prefer to perma ban him.
Thresh
if thresh is good the lane is extremely hard, carefull for his flash E cuase if he lands and you dont flash fast you get hooked and killed, but if thresh is good he will even predict your flash so you die either way. just poke with max Q and respect him at all times, if for some reason misses q you run him down with E slow if possible.
Xerath
one of the hardest lanes if he lands his ability cause you cant sustain all the dmg he does, try to dodge things with your E and W every spell he hits. dont give him kills and dont let him snowball cuase then his spells gonna hurt. just scale up and try take control of the lane from lvl 1. if he has the push then he can perma poke
Zyra
dependign on how good the zyra is this could be easy lane or unplayable. respect her E dmg and sustain her poke with W, she is very squishy so punish if she missposition. dont let her snowball
Ashe
you can chain cc someone for good amount of time and you can give her the peel she needs to 1vs9
Caitlyn
she likes to have control of the lane and while sona can do that under circimstanses, its not the best pair. cause sona likes a safe lane that he can get rich by poking and outscale her opponents.
Draven
he is a very aggro adc that fits well with more aggro supports, sona can do good job peeling for hjm but she cant sutisfy his aggro playstyle in lane and will end up either in a disaster or in a snowball lane.
Jinx
she is weak early and he wants to farm, you can help her do that safe and you can both scale up and 2vs5 the game after.
Kai'Sa
she is a very versatile adc that can play both strong and weak side, so its perfect for sona cause she can adapt to her, and play either safe or aggro depending on the situation. the ony bad thing is that many kaisa players like to R in instead of keeping the R for self peel so when she R away from you she is alone.
Kalista
she likes an aggro lane, and she would like to have an engage support that can be enabled with her R, the only use that her R has is as reengage tool or disengage tool if you get caught, the only problem is that those 2 need good communication something you cant have in soloque games.
Lucian
you buff his passive, and can peel him well but he is an adc that wants to snowball and you cant offer that every time
Miss Fortune
your ultimates synergize perfect, your lane synergie also is strong, since if she runs comet you can perma poke the enemy botlane. and snowball and become a real threat at teamfights
Nilah
he is very good adc to pair with sona cause she is empowers your shields and heals on her,
Samira
she likes to be paired with engage supports or support that can enable her and setup her R, things you cant do.
Senna
high sustain and poke, you both scale ultra well, you paired leads to a very safe laning phase and most of the times in a winning one to.
Seraphine
you both have similar kits, so you synergie perfect, your sustain is insane so you have very easy laning phase.
Sivir
she is an adc that she is weak at early game, scales very well and she is doing extremely good at teamfights, just like you. she can give you the safe laning phase you need and you can sustain her at laning phase and peel her later to 2vs5 the game
Tristana
if she keep her W for self peel your synergy is ok, she likes to snowball and likes aggro lanes, a lane you cant really offer therefore you dont work well toghether.
Twitch
you can give him the safe laning phase he wants and then the peel he needs at teamfights, since he is very immobile adc.
Aphelios
he is very immobile adc so its benefits from supports that can peel him well. you to can 2vs5 the enemy team
Varus
your ults synergize very well so you can punish the enemy botlane if they missposition
Vayne
you give her the peel she needs to 1vs9 the game, she isnt particullar strong early game so you both fit perfect
Veigar
safe lane you both scale up and can 2vs5
Xayah
she is one more weak side adc, that likes to poke and have kinda safe laning phase, things you also looking for and can offer.
Ziggs
good wave clear can give you safe laning phase and free scaling

Im a diamond sona OTP player from EUNE server, peaked top 30 eune sona players and top 150 sona world. here is my opgg https://eune.op.gg/summoners/eune/paparoyNA im trying to improve and i believe i can hit challenger in the following season.
Why i would Pick sona
Sona in my opinion is the best enchanter support for teamfights especially front to back ones, he can peel at the same time multiple teammates making her very usefull.
if she is not fall behind she is always relevant and one of the most important persons in the fight. if she stays alive then the whole squad stays to. to the cons tho she is very vanurable, especially in laning phase when she can get easily punished if not played correctly.
Early game
At early game what i like to do is guard my jungler entrance eihter the mid one or the tri bush, and i always look to early poke someone before lane starts to get gold and manaflow band stack, most of the times nothing will happen and you will go at laning phase, before you go you always have to have 2 stacks on your passive, to do that when you enter the game you use q twice, so the third one is the empowered one, in lane when you find a good opportunity you want to trade with the adc or support always depend on the situation, to auto them q then auto for a good chunk and 60 gold at your support item, you want to find moments to trade when you either going to get the same dmg or less, never more. you want to trade favourably or at least fairly. after the first trade you auto and q poke whenevher is safe and whenevher you can the enemy bot lane, and you use your W only when your ADC gets dmg so you get double stack on your passive, your goal in lane is not to win it, althrough you are going to try it, but to get as many stacks in your passive as possible without duying, at 15 mins you should aim for at least 60-70 but that depends on how lane goes and how many skirmishes you have fought. overall your goal at early game is to get as many stacks as possible without duying and if possible kill the enemy bot.
mid game
when the laning phase is over group with the stronger player on your team and work on objectives, like drakes heralds and towers, as support its good to short call a lot and lead your team with your macro to the right decesions. if you are loosing then you again stick with the strongest person and you try to find peaks at the enemy team taking the shutdowns, and trade objectives, dont contest them if you cant win the fight. make sure you ping those things, althrough in higher elos are thing that most of them know.
late game
at late game you want to teamfight, avoid random 2vs2 or 3vs3 if you dont win those, try to play for objectives and make sure you wont die,
when to roam
as sona you dont roam a lot, you need the experience a lot. the best thing you can do is to roam mid after base or top depending on how thing goes, but most of the time you will running bot. its okay to match enemy support roams if your jungler is ahead, and you win 2vs2 or 3vs3.
when to use R
for peel or engage tool, try to not use much flash+R combo, unless its very big ultimate like 3 or 4 persons, or a person you need to kill in order to win the fight, dont flash R when you will die after that, you need to put your safety first and position well. most of the times you going to use R as peel tool when someone goes in to the person you peel to. obviously you wont R an udyr running to your aphelios, unless is nessacary. you will want to keep R for big threats for your carry or the player who is most fed with. always prioritize your safety first, you need to position well all the time, if the person you peeling for missposition a lot dont die with him.
power chords
when you trading you want to use the Q power chord, when you fighting a 2vs2 or a teamfight you want to powerchord W the enemy carry or the person doing the most dmg, power chord Q someone who is tanky or you want to burst down fast, and power chord E someone that you want to slow him down or as setup before you R them so you increase the chances of hitting your R.
