About me
Nothing much just an average Diana enjoyer
When to know to play tank or glass cannon
I tend to build tank diana when I'm up against mostly bruisers and tanks since the tank diana build is more directed for dps instead of burst.
Jungle clears
Basically always because of diana's clear speed and in s12 its just not efficent to do 3 or 5 camp clears since you don't hit 4 on crab
Start with your W if you want a healthy clear or start q for faster clear and start Blue or Red Buff (depending on what side you start on).
Pros/Cons
Pros
- She is a great assassin
- Great burst damage with her Q and Ult / This is also a great gap closer
- She can be a great initiator
- She can catch people out of position
- Give sight of people with her Q
- She can be a mage tank if need be
Cons
- Building full force offensive leaves her vulnerable
- Doesn't have an escape mechanic. (Flash is her only escape mechanic in a team fight)
- Some jungler ganks can be devastating as diana as she is kinda weak in the beginning
- Her true burstyness doesn't happen untill level 6
- She is a great assassin

Tips
Teamfights
Try to make the fight for you, you can start with a slow poke and after you give an all in with flash e r.
If they only have an enemy "fed" you can try a full combo only on it to easily win the goal / match.
Trades
At both level 1 and level 2 you can make short trades with your q, but it is recommended that the trade reach both the minions and the enemy in order to be as easy as possible.
At level 3 after the small trades you can give one shot if the enemy midlane does not have CC / escapes or is not a tank. For example LeBlanc / Katarina / Zoe.
Laning
1.Aggressive - shoving
2.Passive
a) Aggressive-shoving is my favorite playstyle because I can clean the line very easily with q and w, after I help my teammates on the botlane to get an advantage but I can also get an advantage from Dark seal / mejai stacks
b) Passive laning, if the enemy is very ok and clearing the mid you can't apply the shoving tactic because he can follow up very easily for example Ekko, he can use his q even after coming to follow. With this type of laning you can try to win the mid and play for the team and make a very interesting play or an engagement that can bring you victory.
Other Tips
Try not to use W while dashing towards a target through a minion wave as your W will pop before you hit the enemy champion cutting out a big portion of your damage. Having your W hit the enemy and not a minion wave is a big advantage.
Diana can jump over to Baron and Dragon in select spots. Try this in the practice tool and get this down consistently. It'll help with escapes and engages, and even crucial Baron/Dragon steals!
When splitting with Diana use Q to proc your passive while taking turrets every 3 or so autos depending on attack speed. Avoid using W if possible as it has a long cool down and will be needed to duel if you're contested "note Dianas W will go on cool down faster if the orbs are popped"
When hitting inhibitors try to stand as close as possible as if you stand at normal auto range it won't proc your 3rd hit passive
