Actually, Malphite is really meant to be an off-tank, though he can be played well as a main tank (great initiate with his Ultimate) or a tanky DPS (kinda like Nasus, only not as cool).

when i play malphite i start with q then e etc. to lvl 6 ulti then 3 times in roof on e then one on q and so ulti lvl 11 and so w first time

Clearly you don't get the active of W.
it increases damage by %
which would make him a great dps.
i have never tried to dps malph
but i thought lots of times about it.
he is aftually really a beefy dps.
passive makes him beefy, shard for chasing, w for farming and INSANE damage increase, slam for attack speed debuff, and the ult is a no brainer.
its a good build but it needs to be more exact.
