Champion Build Guide
Introduction
Hello! My name is kastroquality, and I play on EUW and (sometimes) NA and PBE servers. I'm Mastery 6 with this beautiful goddess, Soraka and hope that I can teach you a few tips on how to play her off-meta as an ADC / Top! I have always enjoyed playing Soraka for an extremely long time with friends, and these are few tips I've learnt while playing her off-meta! This guide will feature her as an ADC, Top and a Support |
I also recommend playing ADC / Top Soraka with a premade supp (for ADC) (and a premade jungle possibly) or at just any premade at all - especially because you could become quite a subject to flame. :)
Pros / Cons!
Soraka's Advantages (as an ADC):
- Great kiting.
- Pretty easy to play.
- Helpful in Teamfights.
- Even while not going a heal based build, she can still heal pretty well.
- Her 'E' is really good when it comes to fights / teamfights.
- Her Q's slow is essential for starting fights / healing herself.
Soraka's Disadvantages:
- Healing isn't as effective.
- Can be squishy if you're not going a 'Bruiser Soraka' build.
- You may have to rely on support.
- Not the best scaling.
- Early game can be quite a struggle.
- Has a lot of counters.

Runes!
Normal Runes:
Precision (Primary):
Conqueror - which provides with you extra AD with the more stacks you get.
Presence of Mind - gives you extra mana regen for using abilities.
Legend: Alacrity - gives you extra attack speed - accessible by farming with killing large minions, farming cs and getting champion takedowns.
Coup de Grace - gives you extra damage.
Domination (Secondary):
Taste of Blood - extra healing (very effective since it scales with +20% bonus AD)
Eyeball Collection - gives you more AD or AP (depending on what build you're going) (this is probably essential as you'll be using your ult anyway, giving you assists on kills.)

Summoner Spells!
Heal - good for when you're low in lane or attempting to escape (recommended)
Ignite - good for giving enemies grevious wounds - and good to use if they're low to finish them off.
Exhaust - good for reducing enemy's DMG dealt and move speed.
Barrier - good for if you're taking incoming burst damage.
Other Summoner Spells:
Cleanse - recommended if you're against a team with extreme cc.
GhostNOT recommended (purely because, i don't think you could utilise it well.
