Champion Build Guide
About me
Welcome to my Evelynn guide. I started playing Evelynn when I realized I, A realized I wanted to jungle, and B wanted a champion with stealth. The ideal canidate is Evelynn (after I realized I didn't like shaco). Evelynn is a lot of fun, and I hope you try her and like playing her, just like I have. I reached mastery level 7 pretty quickly with her, and have had a blast since. I hope you enjoy the guide, and hope you learn something! Thanks! Update: changed for season 12 on July, 9th 2022
Pros and Cons
Pros:
-Super fun to play
-Very strong passive
-Interactive abilities (fun to smash your keys as well)
-Strong carry potential
-Execute Ultimate
-Perma stealth post 6
-Build has very little variation
-If played right, you will have very few deaths
-Not team reliant
-The element of surprise!
-Nice skins
Cons:
-Very weak before level 6
-Weak ganks
-Sometimes hard to get scuttle if no lanes have priority
-Relatively low damage early
-Squishy
-Struggles if team has no engage
-Forced to approach teamfights differently
-Proper pink warding can make ganking tough
-Tough if set behind, or if you die early
-Will often be invaded either solo or by the whole enemy team.

Clear Route
I virtually always start bot lane, as the leashes are usually better. If the enemy jungle is an invader/early game jungler, I ward my opposite buff. With evelynn, you full clear, or 5 camp clear into scuttle. Either skip gromp or krugs respectively if doing a 5 camp clear. Always smite gromp and Big krug, no matter which side you start. Those will be the two you smite. Once you back, start your clear again, and try to get level 6 asap. This is your mini powerspike. Make sure to put a control ward on dragon. On that note, only take dragon if you know where the enemy jg is. Ping your bot lane to rotate. If bot is losing, rift is almost always easier to take. Make sure to sweep for vision first. Evelynn revolves around the element of surprise; do not necessarily let yourself be seen, that just hurts the pressure you naturally exert with your stealth. Make sure to take rift early, so you can get a second. In many games I find myself taking 2 rifts and letting at least one of the first two dragons go. Just make sure you fight for soul. Evelynn with her stealth, R, and Smite makes for a very good smite combo. You rarely lose smite fights. Try to force baron or dragon if you know you can win a team right.
Teamfight
Speaking of that, teamfighting. As evelynn you never ACTUALLY teamfight. This is why it is ideal to have an engage on your team. You are a follow up, or could even be considered a clean up. You have great burst damage and can often flank the squishies. Make sure, though, that you do not make yourself seen before you need to. Another note: even though your charm is very useful, do not use it if it would give the enemies more time to react. Sometimes, if you get fed, you do not even need the magic resist shred your W gives you. This comes from experience. You can always use your W as a deterrent. Many will back up, or release pressure if you W, even if you have no intention to follow up on that. Basically, farm till 6, play towards winning lanes, get rift even though you usually prioritize bot side, be weary of vision, and make sure to not give soul. Those are the basics to evelynn.
Other Aspects
A few more good things to know
-Your passive health regen scales with ap, and in the end game, heals you to 100%
-Your stealth radius is 700 units
-Turrets, which have true sight, reveal you within 1k units
-You can W and then attack for a slow instead of a charm
-It takes 2.5 seconds to fully proc charm
-A little icon appears when enemies are within R execute range. This changes with different skins.
-Evelynn often ends up being clean up in team fights; you have to look for an ideal time to engage.
-Evelynn is very good at back doors
-Your empowered E does a lot more damage
-Sell your refills when you need space (you likely have enough passive regen at that point)
-Make players around your R (unless fed, killing anyone without it is tough
-Repeat gank lanes
-Back/farm ideally only when R if off cooldown

Thank you for reading this guide! I hope that you learned something from this guide! If you have any questions, feel free to put them in the question chat area. Evelynn is a very fun champion, take full advantage of that! :-)
Invade advice (added July 22’)
This section is devoted to more technical and applicable knowledge:
Clear:
As you know, we almost always want to full clear. Smite gromp and the large Crug. I am often annoyed by JG's smiting their first buff. That is just crazy. First of all, your laner(s) are there to help you, and second, you wont be very low health. Just kite the buff while you kill it, then smite second camp.
After your full clear, you want scuttle. I dont often double scuttle, though. At this point either back or gank.
if you invade: If you invaded at the beginning of the game, be aware your opposite buff may be gone. When invading I usully take 2 camps. I invade botside 40% of all invades, and top side 60% of the time. I prefer top invades since most Jg's start bot. This way, you get a free buff. If the Jg is not topside, take all 3 of their camps and leave. I almost only ever invade topside when their topside is blue. Blue, Wolves, Gromp is easier to invade than Raptors, Red, and Crugs. However, I almost only ever invade botside when their bot is red side. YES, I ONLY EVER INVADE WHEN I AM ON ONE PARTICULAR SIDE OF THE MAP. This is obviously just my preference, but it does feel better. With botside invades, bring 4. Let the top laner go, dont flame them for not coming. Try not to fight unless your team is strong level 1. You are there to suprise, disorient, and get the buff. nothing else... kills are only extra, you are not there for then. DO NOT DIE. if you die on the invade, even if your team gets more kills, you are screwed. This is never ever worth if you end up dying. Play safe, and recognize when an invade won't work or isn't working. If you get the buff (win the smite fight, yes this is an acceptable time to smite first camp) then only do 2 camps. Say you successfully steal Red, then do krugs and leave. Do not do all 3 camps. Your level 2 advantage is all that is keeps the enemy jg (who is def pissed off) from contesting your second canp. If you try to do 3 camps, there's a good chance that the enemy mid/jg will cone collapse. reminder: only take all 3 camps when invading TOP. (or bot if the enemy jg is not there, ofc.)

New eve buffs (12.13)
With the new eve buffs, there is more reason than ever to come pick her up. Here are her buffs explained:
Passive - Demon Shade:
Heal per second 15-75 based on level --> 15-150 based on level
(Basically more healing late game. This helps her stay on the map longer late game)
W - Allure
Magic Resistance Shred: 25-35% --> 35-45%
(Great buff - more damage, especially versus tanks)
R - Last Caress
Now sets passive on a 1.25s cooldown
(Large buff, helps her get in and out more effectively. Enemies will have a harder time chasing you after you ult away now. Very pleased with this buff)
