Renekton
Maybe this is a personal problem, but I just can't beat Renekton, I gave up a long time ago, permaban.
Ashe
PermaSlow? Ideal to hit everyone with your abilities and ult. I mean it. You don't even have to wait for any cooldown, because the slows are in her passive, and she even has a stun as a ultimate.

Champion Build Guide
Through my years at League, I have used lots of champs, I started with Cho'Gath in the season 3, but I never bothered to get to level 30 until season 6. That year, I had found my first love, Nasus. I ranked with the dog and Sona for a whole season, until I found Fiora and old Aatrox.
My champion pool has been diverse throughout the years, but those 4 champions were the main reason for me to play. At times I started using other champs a lot, but I never stuck with them.
Fast forward to 2020… Wow, that was a terrible year, but that season, I started maining Kayle, I used her a lot in midlane and toplane, I played 128 matches in total with her. But on July 25th, I got stomped by a Lillia on midlane. At the time, I was shocked, I thought the champion was broken beyond redemption, but that match made me transform my BE into a new champion in my pool.
That same day, I tried the champion (In ranked) and boy, did I stomp that one! I got a score of 7/1/5. I fell in love with the champion, and I did not stop picking her exclusively until 2 months later approximately.
I finished “Season 2020” with 189 Lillia matches, 96W and 93L (51% Winrate) and a KDA of 3.29, I will not say that I am a master of the champion or anything, after all, gold is still low elo. But I will try my best to describe the way I play Lillia in the toplane. That includes items, movement, counters, and other useful tips along the way.
If there is something that you do not understand, you can ask me directly through this site’s PM service! Also, if you spot any grammatical mistake or find the text to be difficult to understand, it is because my mother tongue is the Spanish language. I will be happy to help you or fix any mistake.
Lillia: The Bashful Bloom Intensely shy, the fae fawn Lillia skittishly wanders Ionia’s forests. Hiding just out of sight of mortals—whose mysterious natures have long captivated, but intimidated, her—Lillia hopes to discover why their dreams no longer reach the ancient Dreaming Tree. She now travels Ionia with a magical branch in hand, in an effort to find people’s unrealized dreams. Only then can Lillia herself bloom and help others untangle their fears to find the sparkle within. Eep!. |
+ Spammable abilities + Outplay potential + Divine Speed + Can sleep the whole enemy team + Can defeat Darius + Can be tanky |
- Depends a lot of the first kill to get the Oblivion Orb fast - Doesn't have a single dash or blink - No shields or any ability that affects allies |
Conqueror Is the heart of this early game aggressiveness, it gives you aditional AP and healing. Presence of Mind Allows you to get some mana back. Legend: Tenacity I would normally use any of the other "Legend" runes, but Attack Speed and Life Steal are useless with Lillia. Coup de Grace Allows you to destroy the enemies that are sleeping with your critical Watch Out! Eep! Taste of Blood and Ravenous Hunter Blesses you with Omnivamp and Healing. |
Electrocute Provides you with a burst for just a Blooming Blows and 1 basic attack. Cheap Shot Allows you to Destroy sleeping enemies. Eyeball Collection Allows you to get even more Ability Power. Ultimate Hunter Allows you to use your Lilting Lullaby faster. Presence of Mind Gives you some Mana after trades. Coup de Grace Allows you to destroy the enemies that are sleeping with your critical Watch Out! Eep!. |
This runes just exists to deal lots of damage, burst damage. But you will not get all the perks of a balanced build at all, so the decision to use them is in your hands.
This build starts like all the builds in this guide, but its focus are those matches when there are lots of tanks who are building Magic Resistance items and you think that your duty is to melt them, gaining their attention while your team takes the other enemies.
Corrupting Potion is perfect for your early game, since each charge gives you 75 Mana and 125 HP back, in other words, at the end you can cast an additional 5 Blooming Blows, 4 Watch Out! Eep! or 3 Swirlseed while gaining additional burn damage.
I advise to buy the Oblivion Orb and Boots before proceeding with the rest of the items.
Liandry's Torment is an excellent item for Lillia, you just use your abilities, and see how everything you touch is on fire, literally.
Demonic Embrace is the butter you are going to spread with Liandry's Torment thanks to its damage based on the enemy's HP. This combination works wonders even against squishy targets, you wouldn't believe how many times I've destroyed AD Carries without even noticing.
Morellonomicon is the bane of some Tanks. Want to make a Nasus suffer? or Vladimir? or Dr. Mundo? No problem, this item makes sure that he cannot heal more damage than the damage he receives, also, the Oblivion Orb is just 800g, making it a wonderful alternative for healing laners.
Sorcerer's Shoes gives you more Movement Speed like all other boots, but it also offers Magic penetration, making this a good choice against those who are building Magic Resistance to survive your attacks.
Void Staff is a no brainer if the scenery mentioned in the Sorcerer's Shoes description happens, 65 Magic Penetration is a lot and can do a big difference.
Last but not least, Rylai's Crystal Scepter is a life saver against champions that can temporarily be faster than you and occasions where you want to get a kill but the enemy is on the run, because not only do you become faster with each time you hit someone with your abilities, but you are also slowing them with this.
This build is focused to those enemies that are going to be more aggressive, like Fiora, Yone, Aatrox or Sett. In this case, your objective would be to win every duel in lane to have more control of the zone for your team, gaining the advantage against this enemies will provide you the necessary gold to make the entire enemy team contemplate on never playing again... or at least for 5 minutes.

Plated Steelcaps help you by reducing the incoming damage of champions like Fiora and Sett by a big margin, while also providing you with sweet Movement Speed.
Morellonomicon is the sole bane of Aatrox's existence... or at least it would be if Fiora didn't exist. This item helps you by reducing the sustain of champions like Aatrox, Fiora and Nasus, of course, to use it in lane, the best way is to buy an Oblivion Orb that has almost the same effect for 800g.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter is Really useful when forced against aggressive champions that want to seek and destroy in the late game, enabling you to enter and exit 1v1's with no major problem, avoiding most if not all the damage that they can do in normal circumstances.
Dead Man's Plate provides us with Armor, HP and Movement Speed, making you a tougher menace to the rest of the mortals in the rift.
Let's say that you are against a really strange case of a "Toplane Aurelion Sol". Sounds strange, right? While I advise against it, I will present you with an alternative build that absolutely destroys weak enemies, but be advised, you will not be invincible and you will absolutely be killed if you get stunned.
We start with the same two items, these being Liandry's Torment and Demonic Embrace for their potential against literally everything, you already know them, so I'll mention the changes.
Sorcerer's Shoes provides you with Magic Penetration, so the little Magic Resistance that your enemy has will get obliterated.
Mejai's Soulstealer gives you a whopping 145 Ability Power and 10% more Movement Speed if you get the 25 stacks.
Void Staff does the same thing that our boots, but it also provides us 65 Ability Power.
Rabadon's Deathcap empowers everything else we've built with 120 Ability Power, but wait, there's more, since we amplify all our AP by a 35%! Ain't that really sweet?
Toplane Lillia works as an aggressive bruiser whose primary objective is to deal as much damage as possible in the first 2 levels to acquire dominance over the lane.
How to we do this? Stick with me and you'll learn!
If you, for some reason are using the Electrocute runes, focus on small trades to maximize your damage and try to play safe while the rune is on CoolDown.
Didn't get what I'm saying? Don't worry, I've recorded a little fragment of my last match to help you, it's at X0.5 to be easier to comprehend. Also, take note that this was an extremely pacific match in toplane.
From the same match, I will provide you with a duel between me and Yone. Of course, for easier comprehension, it will be at X0.5 speed too.
In other words, if you're going to fight, prioritize using your Blooming Blows to deal damage in area to all the enemies you can, complement this with an occasional Swirlseed to slow them and to gain even more Movement Speed. You shall move like a dancer, your objective is to deal lots of damage and taking none in return. When your enemy has 30%HP approximately, use your Lilting Lullaby and end them with Watch Out! Eep!. But be sure to hit your enemy with the center of the ability.
To be honest, I see the Late Game as an extension of the Mid Game, the only difference being that ADCs are more lethal now. I'm sorry for not giving more details about this.
