Introduction
Hi, Welcome to my very first guide featuring Vayne The Night Hunter.
This build is all about SPEED & getting the most out of her . The build's play style is to be aggressive. Vayne excels at this early game & even better later. Its not a perfect build but this is the way I play her. Feedback & constructive criticism is always welcome. I'm new to this game so I would like to hear from you all. Enjoy.
Marks: Greater Mark of Desolation x9
A staple for any AD Carry champ. 25% Armor Pen is awesome & can drop enemy carries really quickly.
Seals: x9
Faster attacks = more procs. Upon reaching the speed cap, that passive will activate every second. Your enemies will lose 8% HP (More due to your crits) every second your attacking them.
Glyphs: x9
This allows for early & late game survival. Another replacement is but personally, the CDs on her skills are already short so I prefer the magic res.
Quintessences: Greater Quintessence of Desolation x3
More armor penetration. Just what Doctor ordered...Well Vayne. =\
Taking all offensive mastery & / / on Defense. This helps your overall survival throughout the game. Although some have said to take dodge mastery. I tried that even with evasion runes. It just made me last that little bit longer in case of ganks but if you have good awareness you won't need it.
I finish my boots to a then I grab . Taking will really help you set off your crits are add more speed to your attacks. I rush to my as soon as possible.
By this time your probably getting tons of kills & more than likely going to be focused a lot (Pretty sure they would unless your playing with mindless people =\). So see what the enemy composition is like.
This would be the perfect time to get a defensive item. If they are AP Heavy (or majority of their champs are AP), take . Also a note, you can replace with if your facing an AP heavy team. You lose out of that extra damage & speed but can help you survive longer from those nukes. Now if they are AD/Melee heavy, take . It will make them regret attacking you.
If the game has lasted this long. You can go several pathways for the rest of your items. Yet again, its entirely up to the enemy composition on how you build these last items. will add more crits to your attacks & the speed boost is always welcome. more armor penetration is always good. if you really must drop that tank in a hurry then grab this by all means. This plus your passive, will drop anyone within seconds.
Core Items:
These items should always be in your item build for most situations.
Helps you get out of sticky situations & helps set up your . Most of the time I use this spell to get out of team fights when I'm focused. Jumping back in with & for that element of surprise is also recommended.
With its mastery acquired, not only you'll slow them down but you'll also get that extra armor penetration & have a longer effect. Combine this with the active passive of & you'll drop enemies before you in seconds.
Other viable spells:
I rarely ever use this spell unless it was a premade & know that the enemy team will have a lot of CC. But I just wanted to put it out there since its quite a useful spell & gets you out of bad spots.
I usually use this to initiate whenever I have to take down tank champions. But also useful if you wanna take out that carry in a hurry or afraid they'll out of range.
*Always target in this order Carry--->Assassin---->Support
>Tank
*Never initiate in team fights. I've seen many people make this mistake & I cannot stress enough about it.
*Use Final Hour before a team fight.
Well that's it for my guide. Its not so detail or complex as most guides out there are. But I just wanted to share my way of playing Vayne. Feel free to leave constructive comments below. Hope to see you guys in game & have fun.
PEACE!
