while it wont get you "fed" if you happen to have 900g that upgrade is a good upgrade to get whenever you can afford it... including early game. for 900g you get +40ap and +10% spell vamp. to compare if you were to say buy a Blasting Wand that is 860g... and you ONLY get +40ap. yea... such a "horrible" idea. some comments just make me wonder if people actually play this game before they sign up to forums so they can show off their lack of brain to mouth to finger filter.

a half an item disparity does not warrant a downvote on what is an overall nice guide. wow. friggin trolls.

Exactly what I was thinking.

I took it out though since a lot of people seem to complain about it...

Like I said in the guide, I take Spirit Visage for the cooldown reduction. That way you can get Sorcerer's Shoes for magic penetration and you won't have to get the Void Staff until late game.

Spirit Visage sucks. Heals for a pathetic amount and is a complete waste of a slot.

Well I would get resistances in place of Warmog's if someone decided to get a Madred's. It all depends on how the game plays out, that's why I listed items to consider.

People don't get a madred's bloodrazor for the tank because they don't focus them. However, if the enemy carry is running around with 4k health, then I would sure as hell get one because then they wouldn't have one of their main sources of damage with vlad dead.

If you want to be durable, then get resistances, not more health.
