Hey! I had been looking on here at the Wukong guides lately and figured I would put my version up as I didn't agree with the builds currently on here, so lets get started!

Runes are as stated, I believe this gives you early game damage if you want to force a fight though personally I suggest at least lvl 5 before a proper brawl due to the usage of Wukong s Warrior Trickster being of paramount importance if you need to juke them or get away if it goes wrong (His Warrior Trickster is underestimated as a juking tool in my opinion) but yeah more on that later... so yeah feel free to play with the runes but this is what I use.

All the masteries I have seen on here say go down offensive, I disagree due to Wukong s tanky nature, I say to take it down the tank route and make it so you are hard to kill and hard to stop in a chase as you WANT to be focused so your team can use you when you initiate and Cyclone on top of the enemy team.

These item choices will give you tanky bruiser damage and the ability to do a hell of a lot of damage while receiving as little as possible, I currently have a W/L of 20/3 in ranked with these items (not that many matches but I think for now it should give a little re-assurance I know how to play him, the order in which you buy them is up to you and how your game is going but ultimately you will want to get tank before damage so you if you are dying to your lane opponent or when jungling and getting invaded you can stay alive long enough for aid to arrive.

For jungling you want to rush the lizard elder as in the item purchase order, it gives damage, true damage and gives you sustain in the jungle which makes your clear time a lot lot lower than normal, the jungle route you will want to take is

Ancient Golem > Wolves > Wraiths > Lizard Elder

then go back, and you should have enough for Spirit Stone which should keep you able to sustain and gank without any problems, Wukong s ganking potential peaks at lvl 6 when you can Warrior Trickster into the lane and use your Cyclone to secure the kill if necessary, this is also how you should initiate fights for your team because as i stated before Wukong is an amazing initiation champion and you should always look to get your team easy fights.
