League of Legends (LoL) Question: AD, AP or Hybrid Kayle?

Kayle top doesn't really fit the current role of top laners but if you insist I'd say AP.

Nashors Lich Dcap

-Stronger Heal, Movement Speed
-Shorter Cooldowns = More Ult and Righteus Fury.
-More Mana
-High Damage Output

[AD/ADC]
-Insane TTK - almost 1 shot squishies
-Tank Destroyer
-Aggressive early game

Ap is more reliable, Ad is much stronger.

Hybrid. Guinoo's rageblade and Wit's end as your core items. It's VERY powerful

Hybrid, especially since the nerfs. I play her with a pure proc-damage core usually seen on ADCs now with Wit's (stacks massively with passive) and Bork and Ionian and Talisman, and when I deviate from that I regret it often!

Imo if you play an AP Kayle(or any build with a Nashor's Tooth as first item) and you DONT complement it with a Rageblade you're doing something incredibly wrong. It goes so well with her kit and the "enrage" on the Rageblade will save you so many times you'll wonder why you never got it in the first place

I love playing her as a hybrid with lots of AS. She is insanely powerful in mid game because of the damage and still good in the late due to her ulti.
items to take: Guinsoo's Rageblade, Nashor's Tooth and Trinity Force

In my opiniom i think AS/AP kayle is the best.

I think AP is most powerful build for Kayle right now since you gain benefit from investing to AP. Her Reckoning and Righteous Fury will become your main and powerful weapon with such items like Nashor's Tooth and Lich Bane.
Hybrid built (your main items will be Guinsoo's Rageblade, Nashor's Tooth or Wit's End) is pretty cheap but you may suffer some low damage overall in middle and late game.
I don’t like AD Kayle due she become extremely squishy with it unless you get some tank items, I really will not recommend it.

Imo, AP wins. She has so much burst and heal and her E still deals quite a bit of damage.

As Embracing said, Nashor's Tooth and Lich Bane and Rabadon's Deathcap are essential, you probably want to have Void Staff, too.


Other items worth of thinking are Wit's End, Guardian Angel, Morellonomicon, Deathfire Grasp for example.
