First Item on Kalista?

Hey guys,

I was wondering what you were building first on Kalista. I have seen rushed IEs, BotrKs and even Boots.

I am currently sticking with BotrK but most guides say lifesteal isnt good on her.... I really like BotrK because of the % dmg. Generally you can't spam Q or any skill in lane if you dont want to have no mana after a short while. Also currently supports seem to be tanky ones like Leona or Alistar.

Also the AS is really nice on her since she needs it for kiting and dealing damage.

IE would probably provide more damage but not the same utility, right?

So is it better to rush IE or BotrK?

I think its situantional if you are behind on cs go for Runaan's Hurricane if you dont have any kills and the enemies are out playing you go for Infinity Edge it just depends on the situation

I'd say followed by . It's maybe too early to say this sure because her win rate is terrible at the moment I assume but it's possibly the best option for now.

I've spent a lot of my free time working out what's better on Kalista and what I've found was that Infinity Edge is remarkably better than other items if you are running attack speed runes. It gives you a huge damage boost if you're maxing E in the long run as well. Berserker's Greaves would be better after IE as well. But you should always buy T1 boots before your first core item to give you better dashes. T1 boots > IE > Greaves > Next core item (Statikk Shiv if you want the best damage output in the mid game)

If you are running Attack Damage runes, immediately go for Berserker's Greaves and then go for IE, your second core item after IE should be either Phantom Dancer or maybe Blade of the Ruined King.

I suggest running attack speed runes if you have good reflexes and reaction time for her dashes since that route will give you the best damage output over time.

NEVER BUY BOOTS AS YOUR FIRST ITEM ON ADC, UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE! or you are stomping your lane so hard, it doesn't matter what you buy. Boots should be bought when you actually feel the need for extra movement speed, cuz buying items that give you important combat stats will go further towards helping you win/survive your lane.
