HELP!!!

I am CONSTANTLY losing to sett top. What do I do? I can't fight him, I can't farm, and I can't win! Please, if you have any tips, they would be VERY welcome!

If you're another melee and you're trading with him, stand on top of him as much as you can so you can walk behind him when he uses his W. That'll negate a lot of his trade power and you should be able to win that. You can't just run from him so you literally have to all in with him, if you run he'll E you back in, and Q gives movespeed. So the best thing you can do is dodge his W's and force him to retreat so you can farm.

So, as Irelia for example, dash thru him or as Singed fling him?

Yeah, anything you can do to avoid taking damage from his W should work a lot!

I know that these days if is left open in the pick phase, then he will be picked. So i generally pick against him, he's perfect for poke and harass. Just remember to step away once his grit bar starts flashing. I also think would be good against him, with grievance wounds and burn damage. Initial upfront burst at regular intervals is the basic idea.

I know, but it’s hard since I already have Darius and Cho’gath as perma-bans

Darius can be outplayed but I will admit is a major pain. But he has a high chance to be banned by your team and/or the enemy team. Cho isn't too popular and can be easily contained w/ the help of your jg. What champion are you playing then?

Usually Irelia, Poppy, Quinn or Akali.

Irelia is a solid top lane pic for most situations. Plus even if you were to lose lane or fall back her roaming capability can always help you get back up. But speaking of Poppy Sunfire Cape got a buff that makes it even better on her.

literally pick an adc top and don't stay close to him, also if he W and somehow you can't get out of his range at least go in the part that deal physical damage instead of true damage.
