How to build vayne against heavy AP burst?

I would like to ask if I can build bashee's veil earlier supposing they have a fed ap burster. Would this make sense? botrk, PD, berseker, IE, banshee's veil, mercurial cimitar(if they have annie, for example).
It is possible to build banshee's even before IE if they have 2 bursters or you are loosing too damage?
I find myself winning the laning phase but being unable to do anything later on against something like warwick+annie.
Thanks for your replies in advance.

You can build a Quicksilver Sash after Phantom Dancer if you need to remove CC, but otherwise it's generally best to get damage items and just avoid damage as much as you can while still autoattacking. 5th item is probably the earliest I would get a veil but I more often get it 6th.

Make sure you're running flat magic resist glyphs, that should help a little.

Also you'll pretty much always need a Last Whisper, so choose between Mercurial Scimitar and Banshee's Veil and don't buy both.

^^ For the most part ADC builds are pretty static because you'll want to maximize potential damage in teamfights and just use your own discretion to decide where to position.

As an AD main I like to go QuickSilver Sashe or Banshee's Veil depending on the team. If it a AP like Brand or Leblanc with a snare or stun i got QSS. If it against a team that has a bunch of AOE AP burst I usually go Banshee's.

I always get flamed for this but I enjoyed the days when Exhaust was considered a core summoner for AD carries. The secondary effect of reducing a targets damage output by 40% means you can tank crucial abilities.

It works against Garen's ult for example - any big damage spell with an animation or some form of 'tell' can be exhausted to negate the burst.

Heal can swing fights, there is no denying it, but late game it falls off compared to 40% reduced damage. And early game an AP will generally need a full combo to bring you down - if you can stop even some of that damage you can sometimes get the kill or at least escape.
