League of Legends (LoL) Question: How viable is nunu support?

if played right it can chunk down the enemy. You can watch some videos from bunnyfufu on it. If the enemy is squishy it can be pretty fun, but I think if its a tanknier enemy support or they have abilities that can interupt your snowball the nunu pick will be frustrating. SO basically the answer comes down to the matchup and how you play the role

I'd say moderate. While nunu doesn't provide as much as a stat booster as before, he does bring to the table a fair amount of cc, and works well with items like Zekes.

Do not play Nunu support, unless for some lucky reason both the support and the adc have no cc abilities, or else you will never be able to engange.

This one game I played, I was an ADC and had Nunu supp.
We laned against Morgana and Jinx.
Every time he used snowball, he got rooted one way or the other.

I havent played a lot of the Nunu & Willump rework, but just by looking at the kit, he is going to have some more viability support, but still isnt going to be as strong as a traditional support champ, such as Lulu
