    MMR and win/lose streaks

So, lately i have heard about MMR and to be honest i don't know what exactly is. I know that this is how many lp you lose or win by ranked games but I don't know if it is the whole thing. If it's this is there any trick that I can do to make it bigger? About my second part of my question is there any lose/win streak I must be care of? I mean that if for example I won 3 games in the row the next game will have more chances to lose? I don't say that after some win games your next is defeat but you know I have seen many memes for this streaks and I have experience from my own. Thank you!

Match Making Rating commonly referred to words such as "MMR" or "Elo" is a statistic on which the game bases the players in your match. Like you've said, it does also affect the amount of LP you gain or lose. It means that even if your rank is gold, you might have to play against a Diamond tier player just because they have a really low MMR. There is an average amount of MMR that players in each division have. If for example yours is higher than the average MMR of your division, you will gain more LP and lose less LP per win or defeat. But on the other hand, you might also play against players with higher ranking than you, which would essentially make it harder to win games.

This means that if you for say have an MMR of a Gold II player, but you are in Silver III, you will earn much more LP than if you had the average MMR of a Silver III player. If your MMR is very low, you will earn a lot less LP than other players from your division. Because Match Making Rating bases on your wins it means that the bigger overall winrate you have the larger amount of LP you might get per win. Your MMR changes after every match that you have played, and league calculates the gain based on the average Elo of both of the teams.

So, how do you increase it? Simple, win more.

Knowing this might be a reason to not spam “ff 15” and instead try to win even when at first it looks like a defeat. You might get a pretty big load of MMR for it thus meaning that you will have an easier time climbing into a higher ranking.

As for win streaks, there's no real reason. If you're in a high win streak of say 10 wins, continue playing until you lose. If you're on a big lose streak, consider taking a break from the game to reset your mental so you don't fall to the very usual trap that exists in the game which is "I must end on a win".

Thank you very much about your answer and your time. It was really clear and i understood everything. And about the ''ff 15'' I am a hater of this phrase. Anyway. thank you very much.
