Similar Champions' Runes To My Main

Hello! I main Jax and he usually runs runes like armor or health seals, Armor Marks, Magic Resist/Scaling Magic Resist, and I forgot purple either health or cooldown. What champions have runes like these? Thanks.

Looking at the rune pages that you have I have to agree with above post about tanky supports. You need to buy new runes which are different for top and jungle especially since jax is a pretty unique champion.
I am masters and tried out jax several times. Best runes are:
For jungle jax( Attack speed reds) x9
    Armor yellow x9
    Scaling mr x3 blue
    Flat mr x6 blue
For quints you can go for AD x3 or 2 AD and 1 AS

For toplane jax against ap go : 9 flat blues and the rest as above
For toplane jax against ad go: 9 cdr blues scaling instead of mr and the rest as above!

    Hope it helps:)

So basically the only other runes I should change is the Quin and reds for magic pen and ap/Armor pen and AD for most champions?

Dang Ok. Do you know what runes would swap for a mid champ like Ahri (Second Main?) or Vel'Koz or Zed Or something like that.

Your runes are those of a tanky support. Taric, Braum, Leona, Nautilus, etc. Any of the supports that build full tank (except for Thresh) use the setup you mentioned. Everything except for the Greater Quintessence of Cooldown Reduction. I would literally only use those on Nasus as of season 6.

With Jax you would need to have some damage in the marks and maybe even in the quints. Greater Mark of Attack Speed instead of Greater Mark of Armor, Greater Quintessence of Armor and Greater Seal of Scaling Health* comes to mind as a good combination for him.

*3x Greater Quintessence of Armor + 9x Greater Seal of Health gives objectively more stats than 3x Greater Quintessence of Health + 9x Greater Seal of Armor. Never go health quints if you're using armor seals.

EDIT: The glyphs are OK. You can use those on 99% of your rune pages.

It depends on the patchup. If you're going Ahri vs AP I'd go for MR Blues, Scaling HP Yellows, Magic Pen Reds and AP Quints. If you go vs AD I'd rather go Scaling AP Blues (you can also run 6 Scaling CDR Blues and 3 Scaling AP Blues, because CDR is nice, specially vs AD) and then Scaling HP Yellows, AP Quints and Magic Pen Reds.

On Zed vs AP I'd go AD Quints and Reds (you can also consider Armor Pen Reds), 3 MR Blues, 6 Scaling MR Blues and Scaling HP Yellows. versus AD I'd go with AD Quints, Armor Pen Reds, Armor Yellows and get whatever you want on your Blues (CDR is nice (but you get a lot from items), AS is viable but kinda meh, MR is meh if you lane vs AD so there aren't many good options tbh).

For Vel'Koz, take the same ones as Ahri. If you go against a hard matchup with Vel'Koz you might want to take MS Quints since they help you to survive the lack of mobility when combined with Swifties and Echo's Luden.

^That. I got it mixed up because I was trying to make the point of health quints not being optimal. Greater Seal of Scaling Health+ Greater Quintessence of Armor is a great defensive setup.

Scaling HP Seals are better than non-Scaling ones because after level 6 they're far better.

Just use HP Seals if your support and want to all-in at levels 2/3 or fear to get all-in'd at levels 2/3, other than that go Scaling HP Seals.

The armor seal runes are useful. I have them in practically all my jungle pages. The ones that are of very niche uses are the health quints.

I didn't knew 3x quints armor + 9 seal hp gives more than 3x hp quints and 9x armor

    Thanks for that information :0

Do you play Jax in the lane, or in the jungle ?

Your runes set up are mostly for tanks at the top lane like Garen, Malphite or tanky supports in the bottom like Leona and Taric

I recommend you to grab 9x Atk speed on marks and probably armor on quints runes then you can definitely play any sorts of tankers in the lane (Might gotta swap out armor quints for AP if you're using AP Tank junglers like Sejuani or Gragas)

IF you play Jax in the jungle,
You should take atk speed for Red runes, AD for purple runes; yellow can be armor and blues can be magic resist per level or just magic resist

I play Jax mainly in jungle and then top next.
