Which champions play like Malzahar?

Hey everyone I was wondering if you could help me real quick. I am trying to build my champion pool, well mostly trying to find a top lane champion, and I am kind of stuck. I main Malzahar and I really enjoy his playstyle. Malz single target lockdown and his DOT, mostly his E and Ult, are very fun. Now would love to find more champions that play like Malz but I can't seem to find one that is as fun to play. I have searched for the answer to this and some say Swain has Malz DOT ability but it bulkier, and Kassadin for he can silence champions easier. I was wondering are they still a viable pick or what you would recommend?

warwick is the only one how was an ultimate like Malzahar and he is single target and the easiest jungle around and he works in top line as well.
By the way you can try AP Warwick and assassin or AD of tank warwick for being able to survive everything also solo baren!!!

Yeah, is pretty much melee . AP ww is fun but don't try it before using the recommended build...

I'd say and are fairly similar. 's a bit more burst orientated but when it comes to positioning and overall gameplay style it's rather similar to . You already mentioned and it's pretty much true that he and Malz are the two go-to guys for DOT effects, but leans more towards a kind of Mage-Bruiser playstyle. Those would be the two I'd say are most similar to Malzahar anyway.

Although his kit isn't too close to malzahar, I find myself playing Vlad the same way I play Malzahar, and Vlad is better in the toplane than malz because of the amazing sustain.

Malzahar Is A Better Champion But It Cant Cancel His Ultimate Using A Sash When I Have Encounter A Better Malzahar I Always Pick Lux Or Any Long Range Mage Because If You Started To Go Closely To Malzahar You Will Die Or You Will Survive
