KAYN - THE SHADOW REAPER

A peerless practitioner of lethal shadow magic, Shieda Kayn battles to achieve his true destiny—to one day lead the Order of Shadow into a new era of Ionian supremacy. He wields the sentient darkin weapon Rhaast, undeterred by its creeping corruption of his body and mind. There are only two possible outcomes: either Kayn bends the weapon to his will... or the malevolent blade consumes him completely, paving the way for the destruction of all Runeterra.

PASSIVE

The Darkin Scythe

✦INNATE: wields an ancient, sentient weapon, that battles with him for control. Enemy champions drop orbs for each instance of damage (excluding damage over time) they receive from and every time he scores a Damage takedown against them. Melee champions drop red orbs and ranged champions drop blue orbs. Red orbs grant progress towards Rhaast while blue orbs do so for the Shadow Assassin. Orbs will remain on the ground until automatically collected by Kayn regardless of range once he leaves combat, filling a bar above his portrait.

Reaping Slash

✦ dashes forward to strike nearby enemies. Both dash and strike deal 65/85/105/125/145 (+65% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage.

Darkin: Deal 65% Attack Damage (+5% + 5.5% per 100 bonus attack damage) of the target's maximum health instead.

Blade's Reach

✦ curses the target champion or monster for 5 seconds.

Shadow Step

✦ gains 40% movement speed and the ability to walk through terrain for 7/7.5/8/8.5/9 seconds. When he first enters terrain, he is healed for 100/115/130/145/160 (+40% bonus Attack Damage).

Shadow Assassin: Cooldown is set to 8 seconds, gain more movement speed and slow immunity.

Umbral Trespass

✦ infests an enemy champion he has recently damaged, becoming untargetable for up to 2.5 seconds. Reactivate to end this effect early. When ends, the target takes 150/250/350 (+175% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage.

Shadow Assassin: Gains 200 extra range and refresh on exit.

Darkin: Deals 15% (+13% per 100 bonus attack damage) of target's maximum health damage and heals for 7% (+9.1% per 100 bonus attack damage) of target maximum health.

Keystones

Dark Harvest gives additional burst damage in his oneshots, and it's just overall good rune on all of champions that can proc it more than once per teamfight. You can easily proc it mid-late game all ins, and you will get reset on it after takedown.

Electrocute is also really common rune choice for Personally, I almost always take . Problem with is that you as don't want to fight early, so you will have low amount of stacks in mid game, and damage from will be weaker than from .

Electrocute

→ Huge burst in all in.
→ More damage than low stacks .
→ Higher oneshot potential in early to mid game.

Dark harvest

→ Can deal more damage if you have a lot of stacks.
→ Cooldown reset can be easily activated, considering 's oneshot potential.
→ Can be used multiple times in one fight.

Runes

Sudden Impact is best rune choice for in this tier, it's proc'ed by leaving or dashing with , besides that both other choices are bad are can't be reliable used especially considering you are a jungler.

Eyeball Collection at max stacks gives you 18 AD, which is good amount for considering his AD scaling and burst potential. can be good if you want to build .

Relentless Hunter seems to be the best rune out of any in this row, you don't want considering that you are a jungler. I used in few matches and I concluded that even if it feels nice in some situations you won't always be spamming your ultimate off cooldown, so gives you a lot of mobility and it's more consistent.

Magical Footwear is best rune choice here, it gives you nice spike around 10th minute into the game, and saves you 300 gold, besides that additional 10 movement speed actually can be valuable especially when you add and active to it.

Future's Market is rune that I picked up recently and find a lot of success with it. Paired with you save/gain around 600 free gold in mid game(which is 2 kills worth of gold) which allows you to power farm into mythic and get your earlier than you would usually do.
