Pantheon
Any support that brings out Pantheon will attempt to cheese you early. His damage is absurd this early on and being caught is death. Aside from the damage, Brand can reliably hit stun him when he jumps in. Another potential problem is Pantheon's movement speed, which lets him dodge skillshots easier as well as roam quick. You will match him.
Jhin
This is the perfect duo. They play off each other extremely well, despite Jhin not having any cc. He's got range that you lack, frequent poke and high damage. You'll both be able to farm DH stacks. Bad part is that you're both suffering from lack of mobility, making ganks effective against you.

Champion Build Guide
You will likely die more than anyone else. Then you win. Stay calm.
Grab your items, then either walk with your team to invade/counter invade, or go with your ADC to pressure bot river. You'll likely spot enemies, otherwise they may be invading somewhere. Use your W on brushes (you'll get gold if you hit someone) then look for a nice position to ward. If the enemy is visible then look to poke them if your team is nearby. The sooner you get your wards the faster you can deep ward and skirmish with your own jungler.
Give a good leash/pull to your jungler, then look out for the enemy doing cheese strategies in the brushes. In lane you will look to poke 1-2 times until level 2. AA the frontline minions to get lvl 2 earlier. With lvl 2 advantage you can get a kill or force them away. Your real spikes comes at lvl 3, so try to wait for it unless your ADC is trying to fight. If your jungler pings Scuttle or is worried about enemy invade, be ready to move. Don't fight alone unless the enemy is low, try to buy time until your ADC or jungler arrives.
After roaming, helping and skirmishing, your level will be lower than everyone elses. Try to pick up exp in lane whenever it's possible. You have your level pop-offs at lvl 2, 3 and 6. If you are too low level when you are looking mid, you may get destroyed before you can be of assistance. But despite this, your presence provide a lot. Sacrifice your own stats, performance and just make sure your jungler and mid can perform. If the enemy support also starts roaming, try to countergank them. Match their movements and punish them for moving. They'll have to get Mobility Boots, while you're fine with just your runes.
Maybe you'll be strong, maybe you'll be weak. You want to take a couple kills, but ideally just leave them to your carries. You are support, you'll make do with a tiny budget. Epic Monsters are free for Liandry's Brand. Recommended combo is starting off with Q and sending W and E afterwards for your passive to proc. Epic Monsters cannot be stunned by your Q, so it's best to potentially get a spread on a nearby enemy with your E. Speaking of Monsters, look to clear enemy camps if it's available and you won't get jumped on. The worst Dragons for Brand is Wind and Mountain. While Mountain's soul is good, Wind doesn't do much for Brand, because ideally you use zhonyas afterwards. Prioritise your team over forcing a bad dragon.
