Miss fortune
Hey , I am new to this game. just had a question. How is building supposed to work? especially after looking at the guide?
Do I farm until I have $3000 than start buying items, or farm a little and start buying?
I played some matches and noticed most bots or players have 5 Powerful items 10-15 minutes into the game.....and are destroying everything.
if anyone can help that would be awesome tag is ImpactFinale

It's good to note that there is no reason to not consume a component item, since you'll always get more stats anyways and you can always just buy the full item plus a new component. So, for example, if you have a B. F. Sword and you want to buy a full Infinity Edge while "keeping" the B. F. Sword you just buy the Infinity Edge and then a new B. F. Sword afterwards.
Bots get items by game time (maybe scaling with their level), regardless of how many kills or farm they have. And it's common for people playing against bots to get a lot of kills, which in turn gives a lot of gold, so people who get a lot of kills have a lot of money to buy items. There's also the farm numbers, but that difference only gets noticeable on higher elos, not so much in bot games. Or maybe you're not lasthitting minions, but I assumed you know how that works.
By looking at your match history (you are on the NA server, right?) I can see you die a lot to bots, so that's probably it. You should learn to keep your distance with Miss Fortune and maybe fight less with Poppy (or just don't get undertower, most new players die a lot to that). If you stay in lane you'll get more levels, have more chances to farm and participate in kills, which should give you more money.
As a rule of thumb, go back to base whenever you have enough gold to buy anything you want that costs more than 1000 gold or whenever you can buy a full item (a Phage for Black Cleaver costs 1250, the combination cost of Youmuu's Ghostblade is 700 but the full item is really strong). You should also go back to base if you're low on health. You'll lose more gold and xp by dying than you'd win by staying in lane with low health points.
