Champion Build Guide
Hello! Welcome to my Sivir guide! My name is DoubleFeedOP and I'm currently a Masters ADC Player who has officially completed their first full season! I peaked at Grandmasters 123 LP During Season 10 and strive to make a conscious effort of furthering myself and my fellow ADC community. I stream on Twitch so be sure to stop by if you have any questions or leave a comment on my guide and I'll be sure to respond to you as fast as possible! |
What makes me qualified to write this guide? I've played countless hours of Sivir since his release and think that there's a demand for new Sivir guides and I'm here to provide them for you! I see that Sivir doesn't get enough love and its small community still has a desire to learn about her in Season 11. We all hope that Riot makes her a better champion but for the meantime let's have fun with her! She's in a slightly worse spot than last season but I'm sure down the line she'll get buffs. BIG PROPS TO SNOWCARD [NA] for helping popularize lethality Sivir and being a role model in the Sivir community c: |
+ Great wave clear + Utility ADC + Can help your tanks get to your backline + Easy to master, simple playstyle. + Isn't combo based, positioning based + Can help you learn how to better position as an ADC. Sivir is a utility based AD carry. Your goal is to enable your team and self peel with your Ricochet. She plays similar to Ashe but without the high range and high DPS output from her Frost Shot. Her On The Hunt allows her to chase down opponents and quickly get out of the fray. Sivir works well with ardent based supports and builds well with sheen items. If you're playing Sivir, you're going to have to get pretty close during teamfights which makes Immortal Shieldbow almost a necessity because if you get close Kraken Slayer will get you deleted off the teamfight in seconds if an enemy touches you. It's all about sustained DPS with Sivir. |
- Lowest range out of any ADC - Low DPS output - Has no dash, making it easy to get CC'd and caught out - Being a Utility ADC means solo carry potential is low - Positioning can be tricky to master - Very predictable playstyle Sivir is in a bad spot in season 11 because of her inability to synergize with the new items. You're going to have to decide for yourself if going Essence Reaver first is worth it when other traditional ADC's can go their respective mythic item first. Another con is the fact that she has the same attack range as Lucian without the gapcloser so she's left vulnerable most of the time. Phantom Dancer seems like an interesting solution to this and Ravenous Hydra could help you stand out in teamfights giving you that extra edge in not only raw damage but also in AOE capabilities which Sivir excels in. |

Mercurial Scimitar Use this item when going against high CC targets such as but not limited to : Rammus Leona. You can build the Quicksilver Sash component and finish off the item as your final one. |
|
Lord Dominik's Regard You're going to be using this item against high armor comps such as Rammus or Malphite. This'll help you peel and grants you extra damage as well. |
|
Phantom Dancer This item allows you to become a machine gun after 5 auto attacks and is a necessary component to Sivir's late game scaling for teamfights. |
|
Navori Quickblades You can use Navori Flickerblade to permanently have your Ricochet up, but I haven't tested it enough to the point where I'm not sure if it's a great item on her. |

During laning phase you're going to want to either do one of three things. First is leash your jungler, second is cheese, and third is manipulate the wave by walking up and dragging the starter minions to a bush and walking back out. By doing that the enemy melee minions focus one of theirs and that can secure you level 2 priority. Use your Boomerang Blade to either clear waves or poke the enemy, but make sure you take advantage of the extra damage that the first hit of the ability provides. Secondly, make sure you grab prio for objectives such as scuttle and dragon by pushing in waves with your Ricochet. As for kill pressure, most of the time this is dictated by which support you're playing against. Most of the time you have to rely on your mid game powerspike to be any use so just feel free to farm up and scale.
