Champion Build Guide

Empress of the Toplane - Bel'Veth Top

By ElectroBlueGuy
Guide Introduction
Hey, i'm ElectroBlueGuy AKA Stealth in Bush, a low elo player that likes to play champions where they don't belong to, welcome to my first guide!
I'll update it when i get more playtime in/figure out what i wanna do/have time to write
For the moment the items and runes are what i think are best.
Bel'Veth Introduction
A nightmarish empress created from the raw material of an entire devoured city, Bel'Veth is the end of Runeterra itself... and the beginning of a monstrous reality of her own design. Driven by epochs of repurposed history, knowledge, and memories from the world above, she voraciously feeds an ever-expanding need for new experiences and emotions, consuming all that crosses her path. Yet her wants could never be sated by only one world as she turns her hungry eyes toward the Void's old masters...
Bel'Veth is an HyperCarry champion that struggles early but is a beast lategame thanks to her stacks, her ultimate and her interaction with the voidcreatures.
With that in mind, why play her top?
Pros and Cons
PROS
+ Hyperscaler, can 1v9 a game
+ Manaless and can lifesteal, can stay in lane for a long time thanks to her Royal Maelstrom
+ Wide range of builds
+ Skill expressive
+ Closest to the void monsters
+ Very heavy powerspikes thanks to more xp and gold in the Toplane

Bel'Veth in the toplane can scale and snowball into a 1v9 machine, she can adapt to the enemy and can build a wide range of items to suit her needs.
Being a manaless champion she can outsustain most champions in the toplane and win the war of attrition.
She can take control of the scuttle early to help secure an early tower or two tanks to her empowered Endless Banquet
CONS
- Weak Early
- Can get bullied by most meta champs
- No reliable way to stack passive
- Can be hard to pilot
- Your Teammates WILL be angry

Sadly, being a jungle champion, she has a stacking mechanic that can't be fulfilled in a reliable way, since minions don't give stacks.
Playing her against Strong early games champions is a death sentence unless you manage to survive and bait them
Abilities

Death In Lavender (Passive) Innate: After casting an ability, Bel'Veth gains 2 stacks for 5 seconds, stacking up to 6 times and refreshing on subsequent ability casts. While Bel'Veth has stacks, she becomes Ghosted and gains 25% − 50% (based on level) bonus attack speed. Her basic attacks each consume 1 stack.

Innate: Whenever Bel'Veth scores a takedown against a champion or monster within 3 seconds of damaging them, she gains stacks of Lavender permanently. Large monsters grant her 1 stack and champions and epic monsters grant her 2. Each stack grants her 0.25% − 1.25% (based on level) bonus attack speed.

Bel'Veth can exceed the attack speed cap, but all sources of damage dealt or triggered by her basic attacks are reduced by 25%, including on-hit effects. She cannot gain attack speed through growth (per level).

Tips & Tricks

Void Surge (Q)

Active: Bel'Veth dashes a fixed distance in a designated direction, though not through terrain, dealing 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+ 110% AD) physical damage to enemies she passes through and applying on-hit and spell effects at 75% effectiveness to the first target hit. Void Surge deals 120% damage to monsters and modified damage against minions.

Void Surge can only be cast in each of Bel'Veth's cardinal directions with a cooldown that incurs between casts. Each direction has a unique cooldown that is reduced equivalent to 0.25 ability haste per 1% bonus attack speed.

Void Surge resets Bel'Veth's basic attack timer.

Tips & Tricks

Above and Below (W)

Active: Bel'Veth slams her tail down in the target direction, dealing 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+ 100% bonus AD) (+ 125% AP) magic damage to enemies struck, knocking them up for 0.75 seconds, and slowing them by 50% for 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 / 2.25.
Hitting an enemy champion with Above and Below resets Void Surge's dash cooldown of the direction they were hit.

Tips & Tricks

Royal Maelstrom (E)

Active: Bel'Veth rapidly slashes at the nearest enemy with the lowest current health percentage 6 (+ 1 per 33.3% bonus attack speed) times over 1.5 seconds, dealing physical damage with each slash, increased by 0% − 300% (based on target's missing health), and applying on-hit, Pix, on-attack, and spell effects at 6% − 24% (based on target's missing health) effectiveness. Royal Maelstrom deals 150% damage to monsters and its attacks apply life steal but cannot critically strike.

Bel'Veth gains 70% damage reduction, 20 / 22 / 24 / 26 / 28% (+ 100% life steal), and is unable to move during Royal Maelstrom. She cannot perform slashes while unable to declare basic attacks.

Royal Maelstrom can be recast after 0.75 seconds within the duration, and does so automatically afterwards or when Bel'Veth casts an ability.

Recast: Bel'Veth ends Royal Maelstrom.

Tips & Tricks

Endless Banquet (R)

Passive: Bel'Veth's basic attacks on-hit apply a mark to the target for 5 seconds, refreshing on subsequent attacks and expiring upon attacking a new target. Every second attack on-hit against the marked target deals 6 / 8 / 10 (+ 12% bonus AD) True Damage and grants a stack that increases this damage by the same value. This effect stacks infinitely, but is capped at 5 stacks against epic monsters.

Additionally, whenever Bel'Veth scores a takedown against a champion or epic monster while being alive, a Void Coral is spawned from their corpse for 15 seconds. Baron Nashor and Rift Herald summon an enhanced Void Coral.

Active: Bel'Veth dashes to the target Void Coral and consumes it over the cast time, slowing nearby enemies by 25%, which ramps up to 99% over the duration, then explodes to deal 150 / 200 / 250 (+ 100% AP) (+ 25 / 30 / 35% of target's missing health) true damage to them. Upon consumption, Bel'Veth also consumes all other existing Void Corals, gains a stack of Lavender per Void Coral consumed, and assumes her True Form for 60 seconds.

If Bel'Veth consumed at least one enhanced Void Coral, she gains an enhanced True Form that lasts 180 seconds and causes Void Remora to spawn from the deaths of nearby lane minions.

True Form: Bel'Veth evolves into a monster, gaining 100 / 150 / 200 (+ 165% bonus AD) (+ 90% AP) bonus health, 25 / 50 / 75 bonus movement speed out-of-combat, 50 / 75 / 100 bonus attack range, as well as 10 / 15 / 20% increased total attack speed. She also gains the ability to dash through terrain with Void Surge Void Surge. Consuming Void Corals while in this state refreshes the duration of True Form and heals Bel'Veth for 100 / 150 / 200.

Gameplay

Laning Phase/Early Game

This is your weakest point of the game, you should start with Q or if you're absolutely sure you cant walk up, W, try to farm and save abilities to retreat if you need to, once you get some levels you can try going for quick trades like Q>W>Q>AA>AA>E>AA>AA>Q back, this will chunk the enemy and then protect you from the damage and lifesteal some HP, and should be fairly safe to do without risking.
Try to freeze lane near your tower, in general you want to stay near it so you can dash there if you're in danger, if the enemy tries to dive you just W>E and then finish them off, this will get you some cheese kills believe me.
Once you reach Lvl 6 and a few components you should hit your first powerspike, try to force a skirmish 2v2 with your jungler/mid so you can trasform and possibily get Herald, once you do be sure to either get the herald or follow the champion who got it, Herald+voidlings will push a lane like nothing else, not even yorick can match it in early game.

Mid Game

By now you're either snowballing and carrying your team or safely scaling up towards late game, the only thing you wanna do here is splitpush, teamfight and get objectives and try to push for more towers, if you've played and farmed well you should be a menance 1v1 and be fairly difficult to put down 1v2.
In teamfights you should get your true form as fast as possible, and then play safely front-to-back or back-to-front, think of yourself as a mix of viego and master yi, but more deadly late and weaker early.

Late Game

Do what you're doing but harder, a single baron can win you the game.
