Shyvana is really just representative of the kind of Jungle Champion that outclasses Diana. High Mobility, Fast Clear, and big burst, if you get caught out you're dead. Sadly a majority of the most powerful Junglers retain these features, which makes it hard to survive especially in the early game.

Champion Build Guide
I'm currently experimenting with this build to see if I can make one of my favourite champs viable as it feels like she has largely been abandoned due to her lack of competitive utility both as a midlaner and a jungler (which are her two primary roles XD). I've found she can function pretty well so far as a laner by using Lethal Tempo, it gives her a massive burst of attack speed which is ridiculously good for stacking her passive and boosting her natural attack speed bonus. This attack speed boost alongside a significant amount of omnivamp and heal boosting gives her great sustain, and lets her survive jumping into a group of enemies and ulting, making her much more useful in team fights and in lane. Adding tank items into the mix also increases her survivability in both mid and top lane, further diversifying the places she can be viably used. Conqueror may be a viable rune alternative, but I've found it incredibly lackluster in mid lane and jungle, though depending on the top lane match up it could work pretty well.
The Jungle is a different story however, she needs to be able to get into range of enemies while ganking and quickly burst them down, for this we have Predator. Though the nerfs hurt, Predator is still by far the best jungle rune for Diana, it helps her get within range of enemies for Qs and Es and provides a bit of burst damage. She can go for more burst and gap close with Rocketbelt or survivability and AP stacking with Crown, but generally this build is looking to deal big burst by building magic pen and AP. I've got some of my throughts on secondary rune choice in my notes on the Rune pages, but Jungle secondary runes are probably the most flexible out of the two builds, personally I find Inspiration to be the more useful set but I've had success with Precision as well.
I'm still quite early in my experiments but the runes are looking pretty functional so far, and I'm having a lot of fun with them.
So stay tuned (though I've said that every other guide and completely forget to update most of the time XD) and we'll see how these builds go.
