I'm an unranked level 27 at the time of making this so uh you prolly shouldn't listen to me. I'm on level 4 champion mastery on Aatrox so obviously I know all about him already which makes everything I say correct.

Edit 3: It's been a whole 3 months since my last edit and I'm M7 Aatrox B1. Gotten 50k point on the red angerey boi which proves that my guide is completely right. jkjk i suck *** still but that's a given

Be wary of your long cooldowns and positioning at low level as you're a sitting duck for 10 seconds at a time. Don't spam your Q too much as it does AOE dmg to creeps and your wave gets shoved leaving you vulnerable. Never use E with your Q to poke because you have no disengage if you miss and get punished. Only use E to reposition your second or third Q if you know you'll land it. As a last resort to stall your death, you can W the enemy chasing you which slows them briefly buying you half a second to run to safety. If you're forced into an extended trade, don't hold back on using your R. It can sometimes turn around a ****ty trade if you manage to land your Qs and outheal your opponent. Your R can also lead to some exhilarating 1v2 outplays if their jungler comes along.

I spend most of the out of combat time split pushing if the enemy top laner isnt in lane or taking the enemy camps if they are in lane. Chances are they outscaled you so you don't want to duel them unless you have a hp advantage or help from your team. In teamfights you never want to be the first to engage for your team. You wanna make sure you have a meatshield that tanks all the cc and dmg before you jump into the fight guns ablaze. It's a ****ty thing to do to your team especially since you're meant to be the tanky top but sometimes your Q's are a split second too slow and you just can't get the lifesteal you need to survive.
