Play Style
First and foremost, AD Sylas does not get a ton of heal from Kingslayer, having Divine sunderer compensates for that. Aside from that your damage comes from have your passive + auto's this build is actually great for waveclear, compared to AP Sylas. Being tanky helps because you won't get one shot.
Secondly, this build is very adaptable. You can honestly go Full AP after hydra, the wave clear and damage that comes from Ravenous Hydra is pretty insane so it is a necessity.
Lastly, I have yet to run into a bad matchup with Sylas and this build in general. You don't rely on Kingslayer, though it will still help with sustain but having Divine Sunderer will fill in the gap when Kingslayer is on CD.
PS: As Sylas you want to know what game changing ultis the enemy has and stick to the few that actually make a difference.
