3. It pops up on top when you search for guides on google (which is both a result of popularity as a cause of popularity I think)

Whereas we do want to grow this community to the point that its name is recognizable to a certain population, to get there, however, there are several challenges in front of us, with the biggest being that there are already several communities out there that have already made a name for themselves (such as MOBAfire).
I made this thread to hopefully learn some of MOBAfire's past, the challenges it had to go through, and exactly how it grew to the community it is today. I do understand that the guides is MOBAfire's main selling point. Millions of guides to browse through on any champion of LoL is obviously a great marketing tool.
But, in order to get those millions of guides, MOBA had to start somewhere.
