Whatsup fellas, welcome to my Zed guide. I've been playing Zed for 6+ years and have more than 1 Million mastery points on Zed. I'll tryharding to get higher rank (if i have time to grind šŸ˜‚). My op.gg. I created this guide by years of experience and learning from everyone especially the goat Yanni aka LL Stylish.
For you who don't know Zed is my favorite champion to play. Zed is an Assassin , fighter and jungler . His kit has a lot of mobility, requires good skill with high outplay potential.

Domination
Electrocute is the best keystone for Zed when vs squishies or you expect to win early. It enhances your single target burst and easily procs Electrocute with his main combo (W+E+Q). But i recommend taking Conqueror when vs 3+ tanks .
Taste of Blood for better laning phase (vs heavy poke),
Sudden Impact for extra attack damage (vs easy matchup with no heavy poke/immobile).
Eyeball Collection more attack damage as you stack up, Ghost Poro if you want a litte more vision.
Ultimate Hunter for lower ult CD, Relentless Hunter gives bonus Movement Speed when you're out of combat, Treasure Hunter to gain extra gold when takedown an enemy.



Precision
Conqueror when you're most likely taking extended trades, extra attack damage from auto attack/spells (vs bruisers/ tanks ).
Conqueror allows you to play more aggressive and take an extended traded more effectively.
Presence of Mind for faster energy regen to spam abilties in the extended fights, Triumph will heal you in killing multiple people.
Legend: Tenacity gain more tenacity (vs heavy cc), Legend: Alacrity bonus attack speed = more attack damage , Legend: Bloodline gain more life steal as well as bonus health.
Last Stand extra attack damage when you are below 60% health because you'll be talking extended traded, Cut Down vs mostly tanks .



Inspiration
First Strike deal bonus true damage and gain some extra gold when dealing damage (vs tank lane or hard lane).
Magical Footwear get free boots, save 300 gold and bonus movement speed.
Future's Market get items early.
Cosmic Insight redude summoner spells and items cooldown.

ā˜… Secondary Runes ā˜…


Sorcery
Nimbus Cloak after using a summoner spell gain Ghost and bonus Movement Speed very helpful in combat.
Transcendence gain ability haste upon leveling up, lower Cooldown help you deal more damage.
Gathering Storm gain bonus attack damage in the late game, long game = more damage. Use Scorch if you want more damage in the early game.



Resolve
Demolish generate stacks every 0.5 seconds on enemy turrets up to 6, your next basic attack against a turret with 6 stacks deal 100 (+ 35% of your maximum health) bonus physical damage, help split push.
Second Windregenerate health after talking damage from an enemy champion (vs heavey poke), Bone Plating after taking damage, the next 3 spells or attacks will deal less damage (vs bruiser, Renekton, Irelia, etc).
Unflinching gain bonus slow resist and tenacity (vs heavy cc, Lissandra, Malzahar, ect).
Summoner Spells

SUMMONER SPELLS
-
FLASH: is a must for almost every champ, help your close the gap to the enemy carry but also can be used to escape or catch up with a foe and to dodge or land abilities.
IGNITE: a unit-targeted summoner spell that burns an enemy champion for a few seconds, dealing true damage and applying healing reduction.
TELEPORT: Teleport is a unit-targeted summoner spell that blinks your champion to the target allied unit after a few seconds of channeling (split push).
SMITE: Smite is a unit-targeted summoner spell that deals true damage to the target large or medium monster, enemy minion and pet.
Blue smite: While in a brush, gain 45% bonus movement speed, decaying over 2 seconds after leaving the brush. Killing a large monster increases this effect to 60% for 2 seconds.
Green smite: Gain a 60 āˆ’ 281 (based on level) shield that lasts until broken and refreshes after killing a monster camp or 10 seconds without combat. While the shield holds, and for 1.5 seconds after it is destroyed, gain 20% tenacity and slow resist.
Red smite: Gain 3 Ember stacks every 0.5 seconds, up to 100. Killing a large monster grants maximum stacks. When fully stacked, your next instance of damage against an enemy champion burns them and all enemies within 250 units of them, dealing bonus true damage equal to( 4% of the target's maximum health over 4 seconds) and slowing them by 30% decaying over 2 seconds.

Ionian Boots of Lucidity: > CDR
This is the cheapest CDR item in the game. Extra CDR could help in many situations, 1 sec could lead to who lives and who dies.
Mercury's Treads > TENACITY
There are games when you are being caught out by CC or if you're getting destroyed by AP damage. Grab these boots instead of Ionian Boots of Lucidity for the tenacity and magic resist.
Plated Steelcaps > DEFEND
if you're getting destroyed by AD damage.

Youmuu's Ghostblade
Each basic attack on-attack generates 6 Energize stacks while 1 is generated for every 24 in-game units traveled. This includes but is not limited to normal or special forms of movement, using dashes or Flash, or being displace to another location, this also work with Living Shadow and Death Mark swap. Buy this first when vs melee champ. Active: Gain (Melee role 20% / Ranged role 15%) bonus movement speed and ghosting for 6 seconds (45 second cooldown).
Passive: Gain (Melee role 40 / Ranged role 20) bonus movement speed while out-of-combat.
Buy this first when vs range champ.

Buy this when enemy has many shields ( Lulu, Karma, etc).

Maw of Malmortius
Buy this when enemy has heavy AP damage ( Fizz, Syndra, etc).

Buy this when enemy has many long range cc ( Lux, Thresh, etc).

āœ¦ INNATE: Zed's basic attacks against targets below 50% maximum health are empowered to deal 6 / 8 / 10% (based on level) of the target's maximum health as bonus magic damage.
āœ¦ Against monsters , Contempt for the Weak deals 200% damage, capped at 300.
āœ¦ Contempt for the Weak cannot occur on the same champion more than once every few seconds.

āœ¦ ACTIVE: Zed becomes untargetable and, after 0.6 seconds, he dashes 125 units through the target enemy champion over 0.35 seconds. Afterwards, he becomes targetable again, renders them Marked for Death for 3 seconds, and gains Ghosting for the same duration.
āœ¦ Zed also spawns a Shadow at his casting position for 9 seconds which is able to mimic Razor Shuriken and Shadow Slash regardless of range. Death Mark can be recast after 0.5 seconds of his reappearance while the Shadow is active, though not in the last 1.25 seconds of its duration.
āœ¦ MARKED FOR DEATH: Zed stores a portion of all pre-mitigation physical damage and magic damage he and his Shadows deal to the target, detonating at the end of the duration to deal physical damage.

Zed's standard skill order for maximum damage, wolk well with Electrocute (vs squishies). You could level up E at level 2 (to make farming easier) if the enemy push lane hard, level up W at level 3 then the rest in order (Max Qā†’Eā†’W).

In ss14 you should use Electrocute and max E second for maximum damage but in some game you need Conqueror (vs Bruisers/tanks) then you could max W second. Again, you could level up E at level 2 (to make farming easier) if the enemy push lane hard, level up W at level 3 then the rest in order (Max Qā†’Wā†’E).

NOTE: In jungle, level up E at level 1 (to kill monsters easier), Q at level 2, W at level 3 then the rest in order like above depend on enemy team.
Combo
ā˜… Easy Combo ā˜…

Basic

W + E + Q : Easy combo to poke in lane. E to slow enemy make it easier to hit both Q.

W1 + Q + W2 + E + AA : The most damage combo in the early. Before W2 make sure you have enought damage to kill them if not, don't, to prevent losing hp for free when they are trying to trade back.

NOTE : Use W on the side to hit both Q easier.


Combo with Flash

Q + Flash + E + AA : Gap close, make sure you have enought damage to kill.

W1 + W2 + Q + Flash + E + AA : Same as above when you have a shadow (could be R2) that hasn't swapped, catch somebody low hp off-guard.

NOTE : This will work most of the time, the enemy will be very surprised and will not have time to react. Make sure they are in your flash range and watch out for any trap or molly ontop of your shadow.
