I've also heard AC for ability cooldown aka cdr, and i agree that ss should also be termed as skill shot. also tanky dps is sometimes used inplace of off-tank.

I think QQ originated in CounterStrike 1.6. Not sure. It could have been around before then - even in MUD games. Definitely wasn't started in DOTA though - was using it long before then. :) +repped for awesome guide though.

People usually refer to that as "Leash"
