Why the
Greater Mark of Insight?, this mark help you with the
Alpha Strike skill, a good farm and great damage to the enemy, and helpfully in late game
Why The
Greater Seal of Clarity?, this seal help you with the mana, always when you use a AP Master Yi you have problems with the mana, the seal makes you have less problems and better start with this champ.
Why the
Greater Glyph of Force?, this Glyph help with you damage, in the start you gonna have a realy good farm and if you look a weak point in the enemy you can get the first blood or some kills. and the meditate skill have a better start
Why the
Quintessence of Insight?. Same at the Mark but in late game you have a better Magic Penetration

Summoner Spells
Flash: This spell is not necessary to "master yi" because if you are careful person you gonna escape or use the ulti, but if you dont are a careful person use it
Exhaust: This spell is the better whit master yi because you use
Alpha Strike,
Highlander and
Wuju Style i dont think the enemy can escape, but if the enemy escape you can use Ignite
Items
Start
The Doran's Ring to start its a very good item, the ability power help you to farm and heal yoursefl, and the mana regen.
Later the boots help you to move better around and prevent the ganks or you can gank other lanes.
Later the Needlessly Large Rod to... mmm simple "kick a**"
Middle Game
Sorcerer's Shoes you need finish the boot...
Fiendish Codex this item help you whit the mana regen, and cooldown reduction
Rabadon's Deathcap damage, damage...
Late Game
Nashor's Tooth Give you a better attack speed, mana regen and cooldown reduction very usefull. The Deathfire Grasp more damage and the spell. The Banshee give mana and other things, and the voidstaff finaly to have a ultra damage.
