Introduction

Hey guys! This is my first guide and I'm gonna tell you how I play Malphite. I realy enjoy playing Malphite and if played right he really kicks butt. I'm gonna make a small guide but if I get good comments and ratings I'll consider writing it bigger.

Runes

As runes I would go for some magic penetration because then you will be able to make a nice damage output - even as a tank.

For blue ones I go for cooldown reduction so I'll be able to make some nice DPS. Flat CD reduction is good, but for end-game I would go for CD reduction per lvl.

As for seals I would recommend mana per second, since it is good for spamming spells, or you could take HP per level. It really depends on your own gaming style.

For quintessence you will have to take flat HP, so that you will be able to stay in lane longer and be a little tougher.

Masteries

There isn't really much to tell, but I like taking masteries that increase my defensive stats. You could also choose some more offensive masteries if you're more into damage output.

Items

As for items I mostly focus on tanky things like Sunfire Cape and Warmorg's Armor, but the Rabadon's and Rylai's just give the ekstra damage to be truly unstoppable. Then his E deals bonus damage for 50% of his armor.

If u are vs. champions like Annie, Cassiopeia, Ryze or other APs u should buy some magic resistance instead of Sunfire Cape and Rylai's Crystal Scepter.

Skill Sequence

I like spamming his Q so I can get first blood or just harass them so they have to go back. Then I go for E which is also a good damage outputter. W isn't really worth putting skill points into unless you're against champions like Warwick or Xin Zhao in your lane.

Summoner Spells

For summoner spells I go for Ignite so I am able to finish 'em off when they try to flee and all my spells is on CD. You could take Clarity instead but you won't need Clarity if you have mana per sec. seals. I usually ask one of my teammates to help me grab the blue buff. I really like Ghost, but you can take something like Exhaust or Flash if you prefer them over Ghost.

You should not take Cleanse, Barrier etc. You could take Teleport if you are solo laning or if you just don't want to miss any XP.
