Rengar
Rengar's early game prowess combined with the fact that his ultimate can reveal Evelynn from half the map away whether shes camo'd or not make Rengar one of the hardest Evelynn counters.
Try your best to survive this matchups early game and whenever Rengar tries to R you, you must R instantly away before he gets his E-Bola strike onto you.
Nami
Nami's E and Electrocute make for much easier time bursting an enemy.

+ A super fun & satisfying champ + Somewhat easy to pick up while having a high skill ceiling + Has a strong mid game and scales well into the late game + Doesn't fall off like other junglers once midgame is over + Has insane 1v9 carry potential if you are good enough + Literally invisible 24/7, it's like you're playing a Hitman game on summoners rift + Feast or famine playstyle All in all ![]() ![]() |
- Can get punished very hard for mistakes - Sometimes high elo games can be over in drafts if enemy team plays the game properly. (This doesn't really happen under challenger) - Has weak early dueling making her prone to enemy invades - If team has 2+ AP champions enemy can stack MR and make the game harder - Very susceptible to CC although most CC champions can be played around by a good Evelynn - First handful of games (~20ish) could be a struggle, but any champion is like that - Feast or famine playstyle ![]() |

Early game is often

Once you hit level 6 is when

However, don't overforce stuff and don't force fights where you are outnumbered by the enemy.
Once you use ur ult you want to wait for it to come off cooldown before you fight again. If you fight without your ult there's a high probability of you dying and losing

Instead, while you wait for your ultimate to come off cooldown farm jungle camps. You can still go for fights if you're very confident that they can't go south, but if there's a big chance of you losing Mejai stacks don't risk it.
MIDGAME TO LATEGAME
Midgame and lategame are a bit harder to explain. You still want to stick to having ult means making plays and not having ult means farming and playing it safe. At these points of the game you want to be looking for plays around your most fed player on the team. So if your sidelaners are fed you wanna play around them and roam with them. If your botlane is fed then you want to play with them through midlane.
Never force plays while outnumbered unless you are very confident they will work out. This is how games get thrown. Before you go on people think logically how they can respond to you jumping on them, and then play appropriately.
Get prio on the lane you want to play around and then move around the map with that laner, getting vision, map control, kills, etc.
If you're going for a pick on the sidelane with your sidelaner make sure you drop the blue trinket

You always want to ward your own side of the map and you always want to ward crossmap of where you are starting level 1. So if you plan on starting botside and path towards top then you want to ward top side of the map.
This provides you safety against invades and also provides your midlaner some safety from enemy's level 2/3 ganks from that side of the map.
Against champions that have level 1 and level 2 wallhops (

If they don't have wallhops then you want to place the ward in the river. Make sure the ward you place is outside the pixel bush so enemy jungler gets spotted if they go for a mid gank from that side of the jungle.

This level 1 ward is super important and not many people know of it so make sure that you don't autopilot and forget about it.
I'll add pictures later to better explain the ward placement.
Always try to path towards lanes that have prio⁽¹⁾. If you don't know how to judge which lanes have prio then you can either start bot every game or, if you want to be on an advanced level, learn using an external site such as Lolalytics where you'd compare early-game winrates of certain matchups to decide which ones to path towards.

Standard Full Clears:
Do: Red -> Golems -> Raptors -> Wolves -> Blue -> Gromp
or: Blue -> Gromp -> Wolves -> Raptors -> Red -> Golems
Make sure to deviate from the clear whenever you see an opportunity presenting itself on the map.
If no lanes have prio/strong early game champions, then path towards a lane with strong early game & good gank setup.
In this case you might need to do a 3, 4, or a 5 camp clear instead.
If starting blue buff I do: Blue -> Gromp -> Wolves -> Red -> Whatever is needed
If starting red buff I do: Red -> Raptors -> Gromp -> Whatever is needed
Clears differ from one game to another, and sometimes you might need to skip certain camps to avoid enemy invades⁽²⁾, but this is enough info for most ranks.
¹ - Priority (or in short prio) is a concept where one laner's champion has dominance over the enemy's and, due to that, is able to join fights and move around the map quicker than the opponent.
² - an Invade is when the enemy Jungler enters your jungle with the intent to steal camps or fight you.
If you feel like you can't do anything in the teamfights, try just peeling your carries by using W on frontline and blowing them up with E and R.
When enemy is grouped up use your W on the enemy to let them know you are on one side of them then run around to the other side. Enemy won't expect you doing this and might leave their carries open to flanks.
After using your ultimate

So if your team is locking in AD early game powerhouses that have unconditional priority on lane,

That said, picking

Also, I'd recommend dodging when there are 3 or more AP champs on your team. It's not necessary, it's just that playing against enemies who are stacking MR can be a pain.
Do note that the guide is a WIP and I will be constantly making revisions and additions. I might not be right on every single bit of information in the guide, if you have different opinions on things that's fine. If you think I am wrong about anything in the guide please do let me know.
