The most efficient way is to use
Demolish period.
There are some items that deal bonus damage towards turrets (
Trinity Force,
Lich Bane,
Iceborn Gauntlet &
Sheen) but I doubt they'll make it faster.

Thanks to Jovy for the sig!
I personally recommend
Nashor's Tooth as both AP and attack speed increase the damage to turrts significantly. Many items for ADCs featuring stats like Critical strike, lifesteal or movement speed are very inefficient but
Nashor's Tooth is great. You can also combine it with
Elixir of Sorcery for wombo combo against turrets.
Another way to deal with turrets are champions that can destroy them very quickly. Those can be champions with special turret interactions like
Ziggs or
Tristana, strong splitpushers like
Camille,
Tryndamere or
Fiora or champions that have their own playstyle dedicated to destroying turrets like "Inting
Sion".
As Fruxo said,
Demolish is a must pick but all runes that amplify rather attack speed, ability power or attack damage are great. As
Demolish scales with total health, also health providing runes like
Overgrowth are also viable.
Also a great way to deal with towers is to reset your auto attacks. It is known that splitpushers can reset their auto attacks easily due to abilities like
Bladework or
Precision Protocol but even champions like
Vayne,
Ashe or
Lucian can do that.
Another way to destroy turrets more quickly is with champions with kit that forces them to push. This can be for example
Heimerdinger with his forever pushing turrets or
Tristana with her
Explosive Charge passive.
