Game 1:
"So much bloodshed... This is my kind of place!"
Thought Process:
I was facing a Tryndamere. Out of my 5 top laners, I wanted something that could kill Tryndamere early and snowball off that lead. Rengar was my final choice. However, rather than snowballing into a damage dealer, I transitioned into pretty much a full tank with the focus on tanking Tryndamere and then later, Ziggs, while still dealing respectable damage. Sunfire Aegis was rushed, though I'm not enjoying the nerf it just got. My final items would have been Spirit Visage, Thornmail, and Blade of the Ruined King, had the game gone on longer.
For runes and masteries, I used Health Regen quints and AD marks, with 9/21 masteries. I maxed Savagery first for the raw burst power against Tryndamere early on, then maxed Battle Roar for better dueling.
Game Summary:
After leashing blue for Volibear I immediately started shoving the lane. It seemed like Tryndamere stayed a bit too long to leash red for Rammus, and he entered lane as I hit level 2. Once Tryndamere hit level 2, he had a full rage bar and tried to all-in me, I responding by dinging level 3 and using double Savagery with a quick upgrade to rank 2 and Ignite, which killed him almost flat out.
This would be the only easy kill I would get, however. After that fight, Tryndamere proved damn near impossible to duel, so I decided simply to build tank items and attempt to force team fights on Tryndamere rather than trying to duel him or counter his splitpush. This worked out well, but at the cost of 2 of my turrets. Eventually I was forced back top with a Sunfire Aegis and Randuin's Omen. Tryndamere's Statikk Shiv and innate crits tore through me even then and he could kill me.
However, he nearly always forced me to use Thrill of the Hunt to escape, and he always attempted to chase where he thought I was going. By the point he was doing this, Gragas was fed as ****, and he always strolled around to gank the viking when he chased me. Greed got the better of him every time, with a swift 2 shot from Gragas.
Every time we'd kill Tryndamere, we would push further into enemy territory and force 4v5s. Volibear and I were nigh unkillable and still dished out respectable DPS, to help Gragas nearly single-handedly kill everything.
We didn't think we could end the game right away after we got their nexus Turrets as 2 people had spawned, and only I and Volibear were alive, but Volibear was low. I had full health so I took the chance and double Q'd the Nexus furiously and popped Randuin's Omen to stop the retaliation long enough to end the game. I learned to pull the trigger, guise!
Things I learned:
Tryndamere will inevitably out-duel Rengar no matter how far behind he is. Tryndamere players are greedy and easily baited. I also learned how to end a game on my own terms.
Things to work on:
I feel like I missed a lot of CS from the Sunfire Aegis damage messing me up a tad. I was used to the old damage values. Gotta work on that. Additionally, I was very cocky after getting first blood and Tryndamere capitalized off and gained a free comeback kill.
Questions for MOBAFire:
Would a damage build have been better for this game situation? Would have I been able to duel Tryndamere better? Also what do you think of the detail in this format game analysis?

I think your tank build was fine, seeing as you weren't very fed and the enemy team had three high-damage champions. You wouldn't have been able to duel Tryndamere any better with a damage build as well; he would still ult before you killed him and he would still kill you.
Additionally, I like the high detail in this format.
Actually you do need to deal enough damage to threaten Tryndamere at least a little. I generally hate dealing with Rengar as Tryn if he builds some damage early on because he'll just burst down half my health with a combo then back off, and there'll always be too large a health gap between us for me to engage him at any point even with my ultimate. If you just build full tank right of the bat he'll just ignore you and farm hard while laughing off your damage with lifesteal + Bloodlust. Going full damage is suicide, but you need some early game.

This. As a Tryndamere main, you really need some form of damage to be able to threaten Tryndamere. If you build full tank, he will just ignore you and push and kill you if he gets the chance. I don't play Rengar, but I probably would have gone something like DShield/Dblade -> Warden's Mail -> Tabi/Core damage item -> the one you didn't get -> Randuin's Omen. You still wouldn't be able to full on 1v1 him, but if he tries to ignore you he will eventually find himself low and killable. You could also fight him and pop his ult, back off while it's active and then go back in with your ult once it's over and if he's still low and kill him. Hope this helps.
Good luck this season ^^

Tank Build Rengar? I am disappointed. btw how to beat trynd? kill him pre 6 with double savagery. Don't do it in minions. When he's 6? Just toss bolas at him and spam heal. you'll slow him even if he slows you and you both do nothing lol
Basically how I play LoL

OTG's Season 4 All-Stars:
I'll have games up soon, and I'll have a pretty unique format to presenting them.
