Would you like a Chat during the loading screen?
Most of the playerbase don't want to deal with others for a second longer than necessary so this idea would be doomed in my opinion.

Pros:
1. Loading screens are BOOORING.
2. If everyones loading % is the same and you wanna know you are freezing or not, you have an extra factor that helps you find out.
3. Complain about the enemy having a wooden PC together instead of alone!
4. More bragging rights for having your shiny skins!
Cons:
1. Would be the first time that Rito changes something about the loading screen that isnt just aesthetics. Thus could take a bunch of time to implement.
2. If your ally has a wooden PC, it increases the hate within your team.
If you ask me, pro 1 and 2 is enough reason to make it happen.

Right, I also have this thing that about 1 out of 10 games, Everyone will load up 100% but then nothing happens.... just loading screen... If I wait it out, Ill get the 'couldn't connect check your blah blah blah' error popup.
I believe my original mindset behind this was that I was constantly running into getting cut-off by the loading while sort of 'making plans' with the team.
I think it's a great idea, just like you mentioned, sometimes there's a conversation going on, quick decisions are being made about enemy picks or whatnot, and then halfway the conversation gets cut off and it's dead by the time the game launches. On top of that, there's no time to discuss stuff related to starting items like lane swapping anymore when the game started.

I like that it could allow teams to discuss the possibility of early invasions. Right now, people often take skills, items, and start moving to their lane before the team is able to decide about doing an invade.
Do I wanna slur other players even before the game starts, hell yea son :D

It could be like the team chat when you're in queue.. it auto-opens but you could close it.
You need to log in before commenting.
It would give teams a little extra time to go over their strategy and such that sometimes you don't have time to talk about in the Champion Selection area.
